Very wobbly, very hard and uncomfortable, and sheds like crazy.

PERFECT!

Beautifully crafted chairs, just stunning. They arrived crazy fast and were fully assembled. I do recommend a cushion (purchased my tufted ruffle cushions on ****) as the chair seats aren't super comfortable. A light cushion works perfectly to correct that!

I absolutely loved the look and style of these chairs. However, we returned ours. While they seemed to be sturdy and in some ways great quality, unfortunately, one was wobbly and the other had damaged weave.

Very happy with these chairs. They look great and are comfortable. Like others have mentioned, I will buy chair pads eventually for prolonged sitting. I took off one star because of some cosmetic flaws from shipping- one chair had scratches on a leg when we took it out of the box. Not a big deal as we'll probably create our own scratches overtime anyway. And 2 of them have the brown packing paper stuck to the rattan. It can be picked off, but a tedious job.

Not comfortable to sit on at all. Didn't seem very sturdy either. Had to return, which was very costly. Was not happy with quality.

Pretty, but...

Beautiful chairs that were packaged too quickly after they were made, evident because packaging was "glued" to chairs. Seems like quite a bit a variability in intensity of stain on legs from chair to chair, but for the price they're decent. Very sturdy.

I can't say enough great things about these chairs! They are absolutely beautiful! Even better in person.

While these chairs are attractive, they are too rough to be comfortable. You can't sit comfortably without a cushion.

These are just what I wanted. I was disappointed though that the legs on all four chairs arrived with gouges and scratches on the wooden legs. I decided to brush some stain on the instead of dealing with the hassle of returning and getting more. Don`t really feel I should have to deal with that,but so it goes with ordering online.

Fantastic Chairs

These chairs are gorgeous! I've looked and looked and couldn't quite make up my mind so I finally just ordered these chairs to end my chair searching. I was starting to go a little crazy with comparing to other chairs, comments and pricing. From what I read and could see on-line they appeared to be a great value. Well, I am so happy that I did! They are very substantial and solid and very well-made. I added some pads on the bottom of the feet to protect my hardwoods which made the sliding in and out from the table effortless considering how solid the chairs are. I may add cushions but I can't decide. My family, which includes teenagers that tell it like it is, said that cushions aren't needed and frankly I don't want to deal with strings hanging out or crooked cushions. So, for now, no cushions. But, if that is something you want, it would be easy to order. Bottom line, I just love these chairs. I bought a large, dark wood, parson-type table and the chairs are paired together facing each other. Great purchase. Love Overstock and have shopped with them for years. The chairs arrived well-packed, 2 to a box, protected with paper/cardboard and twine. The color of all 4 chairs are identical.

New Chairs for our Dining Room

We ordered three pairs of these coated wicker indoor chairs for our dining room as an unconventional style blend with our oak dining table. The chairs are exactly as depicted by the two excellent photographs on the Overstock web site; yes, you can trust the colors, if your computer monitor is faithful to colors. The wicker is hard coated and not at all subject to wear, and these chars are high quality furniture designed to provide many years of service with normal wear., ,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Similar chairs with arms were not available for our end chairs so we used these for all six., ,,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, The bottoms of these chairs are covered with a dark cotton textile, so the underside of the wicker seats are not exposed; there is no place for household spiders to take up residence there, or for hard-to-clean dust to accumulate. The rear side of each chair back is covered by the same fine, durable wicker used in the backs, seats, and skirts of the chairs. The bottoms of each of the legs has a metal button carpet runner, as most chairs do; a throw or area rug might be best for hardwood floors., ,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, The legs are stained and varnished mahogany. About half the chairs were packed before the varnish was completely dry, and the protective packaging left marks on the finish when unpacked. These legs will need polishing for best appearance but are not damaged; this is why we gave four stars for quality instead of five., ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Even though the legs are dark, the exposed length is small and they do not detract from the fact that the color and texture of the wicker makes a wonderful composition with our dark oak dining table., ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, You will need padded chair seats for best long-term comfort with these chairs. You will not need padded chair backs.
