THIS MIRROR IS A WOW!!!

I had searched stores and the web for a mirror with black accents. This one by Hamilton Hills, is a great dupe for the Pottery Barn mirror that I fell for... just not the price. So I was really excited to have found this one here. I found the reviews by other buyers to be helpful in making my final decision. I got the 24" x 36" and paired it with a 48" vanity.. This is a well made mirror, and my contractor had no problem getting it installed. I highly recommend this mirror.

Nice mirror, installation is the only catch

The mirror is very nice and I bet you'll like it once it is up. It looks just like the mirrors sold at PB and WE for three times as much. It is a timeless style. We replaced a small mdf-framed mirror the builder got at the lumber store. This one is classier and more streamlined, plus it gives a lot more mirror surface without making the tiny room look crowded. A quick upgrade.The brushed chrome color of the anchors looks just fine with the brushed nickel of our faucet, towel ring, and light fixture. They're all right next to each other and they all coordinate well. We anticipated the mirror fixtures would look a little bit off if someone were to really look closely, but no.That all said, I've bought $25 art frames that came (unnecessarily, really) with a paper template to make hanging up even easier, so I don't know why this large, heavy mirror didn't. It wasn't the worst installation of all time but it was way harder than it would have been if the manufacturer had just helped out in that way. We also used our own drywall screws as others suggested.Keep in mind the mirror doesn't tilt up or down just by pushing on it. That's probably not a problem for you, but I wanted to mention it. We put it up true to the wall and it will stay like that because you have to use the allen wrench to change it. Less

Love!!!

I love that it is frameless but still adds style to the bathroom. It's also super convenient that it tilts especially in the baster bathroom where the tile only goes up 4. 5 feet. this way the mirror is straight and not half on tile and half on the drywall tilting it the wrong way

Excellent Quality & Value

I looked at so many mirrors while building our new home & finally settled on a few from Hamilton Hills. I am so glad I did. Their mirrors are phenomenal quality, heavy & well priced. For the cost, you are getting a fantastic mirror that compares to a much more expensive mirror. Would definitely buy these again. Would rate higher than 5 stars for craftsmanship if I could. Cant comment on installation since my contractor installed these.

After 2 months its still on the wall

Mirror delivered in perfect condition. We mounted it into studs. Made sure the mirror is correctly and securely fastened to the brackets. All is well after 2+ months. I would recommend this to someone, as long as they have knowledge of how to hang something heavy. Requires 2 people and patience to do a nice job.

Very well made and look expensive

We installed these over a double vanity and they are beautiful well made mirrors. Love that you can move them.when installing 2 you have to make sure they are both at the same angle to make sure they are straight. I ordered these to replace a bathroom vanity set that I did not care for the mirrors that were sent with it. So glad I ordered them.

Great product

I am very happy with this product and have purchased it a second time. I was able to do the installation myself and love the look and versatility of a tilting mirror. I was missing one small screw but found contacting their customer service department easy to do. They were very responsive and rapidly sent a replacement part.

Perfect Pivot Mirror to Showcase Impact Bathroom Wall

I used two of these mirrors on both sides of my LED center mirror so the impact wall would show the light from the center mirror. It is exactly the effect I wanted. Also the pivot mirrors can be moved a little up or down as needed. I love them. Very high quality and fair price. My contractor installed them and though he said it was challenging to get them perfect on this ledgestone wall, he did a great job.

Hard to install, but worth it!

This mirror is beautiful. Its sturdy and exactly what we were looking for. My only con is that it is a PITA to install the interior brackets dont necessarily sit in the outer brackets the same way, so its a real chore to get them even and level. Once theyre in though, its all good. We bought three of this mirror in two different sizes for our master bath facelift and are definitely happy with them!Sidenote: we bought a couple of them in "Used: Like New" condition for a real discount, and they came in perfect shape. No cracks, scratches, or damage of any kind.

Excellent Mirror, with Precise Tilting Adjustments...

So i did lots of research and am SO happy i bought this mirror. The Functionality is Great. The tilting operations are VERY Precise. I also like the bezel look, even for Farmhouse design.**1-Tip-- I was not confident of mounting this mirror on a sheetrock wall alone, and put a 1x2 piece of wood from Mounting Bracket to Mounting Bracket (painting the wood to match the wall color). This allowed me to mount the 1x2 to the studs, and then the mirror brackets to the wood. I know some may say it takes away from the visual design of the bathroom, BUT THIS IS MY KIDS BATHROOM AND SAFETY OVER LOOKS are the way to go for me.

These mirrors are very attractive, but if we had known how difficult they were to install, we wouldve chosen something else. We bought these during the building process of our new home to use instead of the standard builders grade mirrors that were going to be put in. They were seriously a nightmare to install. This couldve all been avoided had the company simply provided a paper template to tape to the wall. They should definitely consider this. With all of that said, they are beautiful. Love the size and the functionality ofbeing able to tilt the mirror down to get more of a full length view. We have smaller bathrooms and the size of these helps give the illusion of larger rooms.

Easy to install and looks Great!

Terrific item. Looks great! Easy install! If you mount on tile wall included anchors works well. If you mount on drywall I suggest the large screw in hollow wall anchors. I will be buying this mirror again or another Hamilton bath mirror.

Buy better hardware

Ignore the decor (not done yet), but I love the mirror! After gutting an 80s builder-grade half bath, I was looking for clean lines and simple decor. This fit the bill and the price was perfect. Install was fairly easy with two of us, but I definitely recommend using your own hardware and not screws that came with it. It’s been two weeks so far and no problems yet. Works exactly as advertised.

Beautiful product for the price

I was a little apprehensive when I purchased because a few reviews said they arrived broken. I am happy to say that mine all arrived in perfect condition, I purchased 3, 2 30×40 and 1 20×30. They were packed very well, but not too over done, unpacking was easy.I did find the reviews on the hardware to be accurate, the metal anchor failed to deploy the first time so I used my own.I also found the mounting instructions to be a bit cumbersome. The instructions say to hold the mirror up and outline the mounts where you want them, I found it easier to just measure and mount the bracket then hang.All in all, they are beautiful, sturdy and well worth the price. I am giving 4 stars because the anchors are a problem and the manufacturer should address it for future consumers. Less

Beautiful

I love this mirror and it was exactly the look I wanted. I’m only giving it 4 stars out of 5 because you can’t lock the swivel into place. When cleaning it will move up and down making it harder. I am going to place something behind it so that it won’t move. I don’t need or want it to actually swivel. The quality is very nice. We used two in our master math.

Very well made mirror and well packed to ship

We are building a new house and needed the larger 30x40 size to fit the space. So far as I could find, these are the ones in that size. They arrived safely and the packing material is top rate. I was worried shipping such a large, flat box but the styrofoam inside kept it safe and sound. The mounting hardware is simple to install, but much of that depends on what is behind the wall. We knew what we were getting when we framed the house, so we had them install backer boards so these mirrors could mount just about anywhere on the wall. They are not as heavy as I expected, however they are nearly 30 pounds supported on two relatively small mounts, so they need to be properly attached to the wall.

Excellent option for DIY novices

Great mirror with good design and was easier to install than I thought it would be. The only reason for one star off for installation was that it was tricky to use the hex key for the outer hardware piece but my electric screw driver had an optional bit that worked fine. Overall, it is very good and getting excellent in person reviews.
