Concept brilliant BUT with the batteries it becomes far too heavy to screw to the back of a picture frame with normal cord hanging. The top of the pictures comes away from the wall by nearly two inches. Customer particularly did not want it screwed to the wall so sadly it will be returned. Also cost of batteries was nearly £20 and leaflet says around 120 hours. This means if it is on for 4 hours per day they would need replacing every 30 days.SorryRoy c

I know it’s called ‘Ultimate’ but it really isn’t very bright. We have a fairly large and admittedly dark oil painting and the light barely makes a difference so it’s somewhat disappointing. The actual light looks good though.

Lovely soft light. Dimmer is an excellent feature. A quality product. My only reservation is the colour of the metal - 'Antique Brass' is rather more silver in appearance than the 'old gold' I was hoping for.

I like the light very much. It is easy to mount and got me out of trouble by not having to chase the wall again. I am 82 and could manage fixing ti to the frame.I have not looked at the effect of the light in the evening. Daytime it seems a little cold. I would have preferred another 2cm on the arm so that light sits slightly better over the painting. But then my painting may be a little too large for the 40cm light , which is the largest in the collection. On the whole good product.

I have now bought 14 of these picture lights. They arrived the day after ordering, perfectly packed and almost nothing to assemble apart from drilling 3 small screw holes in the frame of my antique pictures. Subtle light and perfectly illuminated. Delighted not to have to install wiring in the rooms and also like the remote and dimming facilities. Easy, they look good and work perfectly.

So happy with this product! Looks lovely; easy to follow instructions; appears much more expensive than it is, the different remote lighting settings are ideal and the remite comes with its own holder lessening the chance of it being mislaid. I'm going to purchase a further two! Thank you.

Great battery-powered LED picture light! Battery life is impressively long, and the lamp is more than sufficiently bright. Quite a bargain compared with other picture lights with similar specifications.

I was worried that the light would be too harsh but it’s perfect especially with the dimmer. Really very happy with this and I’m going to order two more this week. Great product and super easy to install.

Good size and works fine however the lights reflect on the glass. I think it because they are LED so there is not way around it unless you get mains connection. Customer service was good.

Light is perfect for the picture. Colour blends well so not obvious that there is a light attached. Battery powered means no cables which was putting me off getting a picture light, so glad i found this. Would definitely buy again for other paintings.

Excellent value however tricky lighting/turning off one picture with the remote when there are two similar picture lights in the room, although not impossible.Appears to be well made. Remains to be seen if reliable although there is a two year guarantee.

Nice but color off from photo.

I ordered this art lamp to accompany a recent oil painting I purchased. The description is listed as Antique Brass and coupled with the photo online, you would think it would be in the dull gold family. It is not. Totally more silver, forcing me to spray paint it to match the frame I was using it on. The end result was great, but worth mentioning to save fellow buyers the extra step. Also, be prepared to spend about $50.00 in batteries. The lamp takes 8 and the remote 2.

Almost perfect - but with a BIG FLAW!

I've had this light for just under a year now.PROS: This light looks great! It shines beautifully on my artwork and was relatively easy to install.CONS: It has ONE GIANT FLAW. The 8 "C" batteries last less than a week - usually about 5 days or so. I purchased rechargeable batteries because of this problem, so at least I'm not buying 32 batteries a month. However, the need to change them so often is a pain in the neck. Changing the batteries would not be a problem if it needed to be done every few months - but every week! It's a huge problem!!FYI, Here is how often I use it: I turn the light on it's highest setting every evening and leave it on for 4-6 hours. I would prefer to leave it on longer, especially in the winter, but I've tried that and the batteries run out in a couple of days. This battery issue is a real problem.I'm still in the market hoping to find a replacement which doesn't need such attention - It's a light after all and this is 2017!! Less
