Packing Tape on Frame Horrible to Remove

The mirrors are nice and of good quality with a few minor defects here and there. Totally acceptable in that regard. The problem is with the adhesive tape they used on the frame for shipping. It leaves a sticky residue that is very difficult to remove and time consuming. I finally was able to fix most of the problem using WD40 to soak it for a minute or so, then rub it with the same rag used to apply the WD40. After that I used a mild soap and water combination to remove the WD40 remaining. Even then this process had to be repeated multiple times. Don't they test the packaging to make sure it doesn't cause problems like this?

Overall, a very nice mirror. I purchased two. The backing is a thin woodish product. The backing on one of the mirrors is bowed out, which doesn't allow the mirror to sit flat against the wall. The way it's made doesn't allow for the backing to be flipped, which otherwise would have worked. The mirrors are both in a master bath and therefore adjacent one and other. It is quite obvious that one is not sitting flat against the wall. A little disappointed, but if need be, I'll just remove the backing. I tossed out the packing material, otherwise, I would have returned the mirror for another.

Excellent mirror! This is my second mirror for a second bathroom. I purchased a larger one last year. Hangs beautifully, easy to clean and most importantly does not get fogged up when taking a shower! You can feel pleased and confident you made this purchase!
