Nice but dark brown not black as stated

It states black lamps but they are dark brown so I was disappointed. I am doing the guestroom in black-and-white and wanted black but I like the design so I'm sticking with it. Cute style though and nice set.

Disenchanted

I sent a text the day I received the lamps I ordered because the floor lamp has a bent section at the bottom that causes the lamp to tilt. I have not herd back from overstock yet

NOT TRULY BLACK

Was very impressed with the price, the quality and weight of these lamps, however they are not black... almost dark purple. Will not look good with other black in the room so will have to return unfortunately.

The clean lines go very well with our arts & crafts style furniture. The malbec hue gives it a warmth and richness you don't get from a plain black or brown. Easy to assemble. Plenty sturdy despite being so slender.

I love the look of the lamps. The only downfall, in my opinion, would be the lampshades. I feel they looked too small, or maybe they were the wrong shape. I actually used the shades from my old lamps. Anyway, I would still recommend them.

Crooked lamp

These lamps are crooked, both table and floor lamp. Very hard to get the socket part screwed into lamp base. Lamps are brown, not black.

Will never purchase from Walmart.com again

When I received these lamps yesterday and opened the box they were obviously damaged, the Styrofoam was cracked into pieces to of the lamps had dents in the bases. When I ordered these from Walmart.com at no time during the order process did it indicate that they were coming from anywhere else other than Walmart.com. However when I did get my order confirmation It did say that the product was coming from shop ladder.com Before I ordered anything on Walmart.com I called the local stores to find out if I had an issue or I wanted to return the item if I could return them to the store and I was told "YES"

Poor quality and two of the lamp bases were dented and one shade was stained. You get what you pay for..... cheap.

modern black lamps

Easyl assembly, took20 minutes to assemble. Looks great in my sons bedroom, sleek and modern design. White fabric appreciated, not amber with better lightening. Only disappointment, wish shade quality bit better. Excellent value, would be great fo rcollege dormsl
