I really like the look.
The liner makes all the difference. I've bought several of these frames and my artwork always looks great. It's a step up to have the liner from a plain frame. [Seem to sell more with these also.]

Beautiful and sturdy frame.
The frame is used for a family heirloom, a painting I inherited from my grandfather's original works. I would note for others using this type of Plein Aire frame for the first time, that they are made of an exceptionally hard material in which it is very hard to place a screw. You'll likely need to start the hole for the screw first with either a bit of drilling or hammer in a nail for a bit and remove it. Then screw the screw into the already started hole.
