Love this chair! I can’t review durability as this was purchased within a week of this review. I will say that it does feel very sturdy, no wobbling or rocking, and the swivel is nice and smooth. Like others have reviewed, the color is slightly darker than the stock photos, and also depends on the light (seems darker at night). The pictures I provided make the chair look more gray than it really is in person, in reality it is more taupe/beige/tan. My husband is 6’1” and said it could use a pillow for back support as the seat it deep, and myself at 5’5” without a pillow I can sit with my legs crisscrossed.
Well made chairs
I received my 2 swivel chairs yesterday, They are NOT cream as I expected, hence 4 points, but there is nothing wrong with the chairs themselves. They met my requirements and I am able to turn toward the Couches to converse, or swivel to watch TV.... Since the color, which is more taupe than Creme did not clash with my living room, I deceived to keep them. However, they arrived via UPS with torn boxes covered in motor oil or grease. I wasn’t sure whether I should accept the two boxes as I was worried about the chairs, but Thankfully, they were ok.
Love, love, love this chair and so glad I ordered a pair of them! It looks ritzy and is very well made with extra deep seating, dense cushion and a comfortable height even for my 6' 2' husband. The lower profile, barrel shape and tufted exterior complement a modern decor. The color is what I would classify as a more trendy "greige" with just the right amount of grey, beige and cream in a subtle variegated fabric to transition any of those colors in a room. This chair was listed for sale at a large higher-end department store for $659 and was the reason I took a chance on ordering online furniture from Overstock.com. It was a great find and 2 for less than the price of 1! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
