Nice, Easy to Assemble, No Smell!

I am surprisingly happy with this end table! You never know these days when you order online for "kit" furniture, but this brand impressed me! To start, it was packed well. While I'd prefer no non-recyclable products at all in the packaging, this was 60% recyclable and 40% not, so better than most and there wasn't a single scratch on the wood. The instructions were done well, and I had the table together in minutes. My only problem was a strength issue- I had to have my husband finish screwing in the 4 under-shelf screws, as there are no predrilled holes for them and you're screwing into wood. The end table is pretty, simple but nicely designed, and the black paint is smooth and done well. The bottom trim is solid, so no cat toys will get stuck underneath (bonus!). But what impressed me most is that there is NO SMELL!!! I am scent-sensitive and these days, that's hard to be. Pretty much everything arrives reeking of toxic chemicals and/or mold, thanks to our new global shopping. But this table was totally safe and scent-free. I did unpack it outside, as I do all shipments, as the boxes can harbor things I don't want in my house (I'm a recovering mold victim, exposed while exercising at a public rec center, so I have to be extra cautious). But the wood and components didn't bother me at all. And the end table is solid and nice looking, not like a DIY item in the least. My main needs for an end table were that it be stable, have some storage space, and have room on top for a cat butt. The cats use the end table for launching onto the cat tree 5 feet away, so stability is a must. They also like to sit there and watch the birds outside, so I can never put anything on top. They will, however, allow me to stash some DVDs and books on the shelves below. I'm so happy with this end table, I wish the brand made larger furniture, like a matching sideboard/ buffet. If they did, I'd buy it!

Love it! I have it by my front door for things I need to take out to my car, return to stores, packages I bring in from outside, etc. It’s solid and doesn’t look cheap.

I ordered two tables. While assembling the first table I discovered that the bolts were not accepted by one of the side pieces. I opened the second box and used one of the side pieces to complete the assembly. I then had to repack the second table, tape up the box, and return it to Home Depot. Quite inconvenient. Also not that securing the middle shelf required inserting screws into the bottom of the shelf. No pilot holes are provided.

Quick and easy assembly. It's a heavy piece of furniture after it's assembled. I'm very pleased. I put some rectangular baskets on the shelves and it's looks nice, it hides the clutter of remotes. I thought it was a bit much for the price, yet bought it anyway.
