Sent me a moldy desk and won't let me return

This item was delivered Dec 2nd, it's the 7th. and I've been contacting them daily just trying to return it and get a refund.

Excellent quality

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this desk. It came well packaged and was simple to assemble.

Color not as pictured

The desk is well made. It was very easy to put together. You just need to attach the legs. The only issue I have is that the color is way off. The desk is much lighter than the picture. I was really disappointed with the color as I spend a lot of time searching for a desk that would match my TV console. I am still deciding whether I should return it because of the color.

Simple Yet Beautiful and Functional Wood Desk

This wooden desk is well made and simple in its design. I am using it as an office desk. I like the darker wood grain as it closely matches my book case and other wood furniture in the space. I also like the sliding keyboard tray for use with the PC keyboard and mouse, that can be hidden behind the folding drawer facade. The smaller drawers are large enough to hold office supplies so that the desktop remains open for a large screen monitor, laptop dock, head set stand, and some other items, including a separate keyboard and mouse for my iPad. Although the front edge left and right corners were damaged during transit, even with protective styrofoam, the overall beauty and minimal design of the desk rates highly. The damage can be covered up with some minor touch up to the finish. I gave five stars because of the promptly and understanding customer support team. I was able to receive a credit back off the purchase price due to the damage. This allowed me to keep the desk and no have to go through an exchange process, yet be compensated for the inconvenience.

I have a few item from Simplihome. It’s refresing not to deal and waste your money on compressed ( manufactured wood) items. So far no complains, keep up the good work and there is always room for improvement !

Should be great desk, but one of the corners arrived damaged. Easy to assemble, large work space. A little tall for a short person. Nice finish

Beautiful desk, You get waht you pay for

I ordered the desk thrugh the website and it arrived ahead of schedule. The box was a hefty 65ibs or so. The desk is a beautiful dark wood and constructed of real wood; not cheap particle board. Even the small side drawers were all wood inside. Many manufactrures use cardboard bottoms but not this desk; solid wood throxgh and through. This had to be the easiest assembly I've had and I hate assembling furniture. All the drawers including keyboard drawer are pre assembled and installed; all I had to assemble was to install the legs and 4 drawer knobs. Instructions are included but I did not use them and it took less than 15 minutes once out of the box. An excellent quality and good looking desk, it should last many years. There are a lot of desks out there that are cheaper but you may sacrifice quality; this was worth every dollar.
