Great product, disappointing customer service.

The chairs are great, I bought 60 in 2022, and everything was great. We decided to place an additional order in April of this year, and that’s when the issues started.After a month of not receiving the chairs, I sent an email in May and was told the order had been moved to fulfillment and provided tracking; all we received were the metal racks that go under the chairs. I emailed them back, and they just stopped replying.We are now in June. I called customer service and was promised an email with updates before the end of the day, but I didn’t get it. I called the following day and was promised the same thing. I was told they didn’t have all the chairs but could send what they had, and I was to get an email with more info “in a couple of hours.” 48 hours later, I am still waiting, I decided to call again, and we’ll see if I can finally get the chairs.The product is excellent, but I am incredibly disappointed with their customer service. I won’t be doing business with them in the future; I just hope I can get the chairs ordered 2 months ago. Less

Good Product; Questionable Customeer Service

There is a big difference between writing a review for a product and writing a review for service. First, the product: The chairs seem very well made and of a good quality. But, when attaching the back to the frame, there are no pre-drilled holes in the seat back. It is necessary to line up the seat back with the holes on the chair frame, then drill through the fabric and wood to attach the seat back to the frame. This is not a difficult project, but pre-drilled holes would help, especially if you do not have a drill with a screw driver tip. Second, the service: Based on me experience, communication with this company is not very good. I ordered and received an order confirmation stating I would receive an email when the chairs had shipped. About 20 days later, I had heard nothing. I emailed the company, but received no reply. I called customer service. The person with whom I spoke was very nice and seemed surprised that I had not received the chairs. Looking up our order, he explained the chairs were on back order and would not be available fro almost 20 more days. He said he would check with another warehouse to see if they were in stock and that I would receive a call or email updating me. I received no call or email with an update. About a week later, I received an email stating when the chairs would be delivered. Ten minutes later, my wife called and said the chairs had been delivered. That is extremely poor communication. Furthermore, the chairs were in great shape when delivered EXCEPT that the chair backs were dirty, as if they had laid exposed in a warehouse for who knows how long. The price and quality of these chairs is very good. But customer service and communication needs a LOT of improvement. In spite of all this, I would very likely buy from this company again. Less

Chair was not completely assembled

Would not have ordered chair if it said had to be assembled. Now I have to find or hire someone to screw all of the 8 screws needed to attach back to metal frame. I don’t have a drill gun at my age. So chair is sitting waiting to be assembled so I can use it. Looks like another waste of money.Also the back lean is very uncomfortable and you need a pillow for your back to sit upright. Otherwise you are leaning too far back.

Excellent Dining Chair

An excellent lightweight, durable chair we are using for our dining room and extra seating in the living room. The chair came fully assembled, except for the backs. Unfortunately, there were no guide holes drilled in the back of the chair backs to match the holes drilled in the frame. They did match up nicely once assembled.

Useful in some settings but not very solid

Not what we were looking for. They could be useful in some church settings but they did not seem to be sturdy enough for our church auditorium. Ours came disassembled which was a real challenge to put together. The church back did not seem to be solid and it wobbled on a hard floor. Maybe we just received a poor sample but it was not what we were looking for.

Horrible brackets

Chairs themselves are nice. But the way they connect is horrible. The quality of the brackets are cheap, bend very easily and they won’t stay attached. They also are very hard to connect to one another. I do not recommend these until they find a better bracket system.

Solid chair. Good value.

Chairs are solid. Bigger seat. Not too soft. But it is comfortable for kitchen/dining area. You will need some tools, such as a hand drill or power screw driver to attach the back. They probably could have made something easier for that step. But it isn't too difficult to do yourself. It is a good chair. Feels durable. I am a bigger guy. And I would feel safe standing on the seat, to change a light bulb, when I need to. And it is wide enough and comfortable enough for my heavy butt. It is a nice chair for a bigger person.

Weight is misrepresented

The static weight max for this chair is 800 lbs. However, after receiving the chair, the bottom states that the dynamic weight is only 250 lbs. So, if you sit down gently and never move while using it, you will be fine. Disappointed that this info wasn't available before purchasing.

Be Aware very high shipping return cost

Be Aware if you need to return chairs. You will be stuck with a very high return shipping cost, even when is not your fault. My return shipping return has an estimate cost of atmost $500.00. Almost the cost for only 4 chairs.

Hard to put together

I bought these chairs because I have large people in my family and I needed a sturdy seat. Once these are built, they feel sturdy. When bigger people sit on them, I feel confident they will not buckle underneath. My only issue is putting the chairs together; there are not any drill holes. The person who built them for me said they were hard to build because they did not have a drill, they only had a screwdriver. Also, I bought 4. They all arrived in one box. Due to the weight, the box tore open and we lost one foot on one chair, so it had to be returned.

We purchased 50 of these chairs on Feb. 19, by mid March we had them assembled and using them. They look good and feel great! back support is excellent. The big problem is, even after two months the still are outgassing a chemical smell that gives some in our body headaches. I would have given 5 stars if the smell would have been gone by now. Sturdy, attractive but bring a screwdriver

The chair is perfect. I wanted it to be sturdy and armless for working out. It’s comfortable and tolerates my 300 with a wide seat. The one thing I didn’t like was that the buyer must attach the back cushion. It’s just a matter of 8 screws (provided) but there are no holes drilled into the back. There aren’t even marks showing where to drill your own. I ended up creating the holes as I screwed in the screws. It wasn’t hard; the wood inside must be quite soft. But I could hear the wood cracking so you just want to snug them up, not over tighten. I think when you see the box it comes in you’ll wonder, as I did, why on earth wasn’t the chair completely assembled?!Well, now I’ve no more excuses; let the chair exercising begin!

Too Wide, Back Not Straight

I gave this chair a 3 star rating because it doesn't meet the requirements I need for my sitting exercises. The chair is too wide and the back is short and not straight to sit flushed all the way back. The plus is the color and the cushion is comfortable but I would not recommend if you need a straight up right armless chair. I really want to return it but it would be more of a hassle but if I can get UPS to pick it up I will return it.

Love these chairs for our board game cafe! Our guests love that they are extra wide and plush and comfortable. They're great for sitting for long periods of time to play board games and I was really happy to find that there were colors available that were similar to our logo so it looks good in store and like a beautiful cohesive design. We have to replace the seats every few years when they tear and break but that's to be expected when you go for an upholstered chair instead of a steel chair. They hold substantial weight as well with ease and stack easily as well. Love them!

These chairs are absolutely fantastic! I adore them and they're perfect for our board game cafe. They're still super affordable and our guests absolutely love them. They're extra wide, can hold substantial weight and stack really easily. They also come in a wide variety of colors so you can match it to your space! Highly recommend them.

Good but falls a little short of expectations

I just received my chair today and so far I am pretty happy with it. It's a very comfortable chair, much moreso than I expected. Don't know if that will change, as the cushion could potentially flatten over time but it has nice cushioning and may well hold up for years and years. It is sturdy and feels like it should hold up to a lot of use and be able to hold a larger person. I am a big guy myself and I feel perfectly comfortable on this chair.It is a little low, however, so I do wish it had a different stance that placed the seat higher up. This could possibly be modified with leg extenders but really, it would be better if the seat were simply higher from the get go.A lot of reviews mentioned the difficulty of installing the chair's back cushion. My experience is that it is not at all difficult but it is pretty unnecessary as the box is big enough for the fully assembled chair to be shipped. It took about a minute to put in the screws (didn't have to drill through metal or anything like that) so that's a minor issue.Nice color (I bought the blue one), decent price. As the chair sits now, I do feel like it could be a tad cheaper as it falls short on some of my expectations. For 95 bucks or so that I spent on it I feel it should have been close to perfect.Finish assembling them before shipment, add some height, and keep the high weight capacity and durability it currently has and this chair would be basically perfect.I bought this chair as a replacement office chair as all of our desk chairs at work are constantly in bad shape, so I wanted something simple, comfortable and sturdy. If that's what you want and don't mind the low seat and having to run your drill to put in a few screws, this chair should be just fine for your needs. Less

Comfortable, well-made, high-backed chair.

I purchase this chair to use at a small, mid century modern desk that I use for writing. The desk is a brown color so I needed a small brown chair to match. The chair arrived quickly and was packaged well. It was easy to install the back cushion. I found the brown color to be a perfect match for my desk. The chair is well made, sturdy and has a high back which encourages good posture. I found it is very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time as it is well padded both on the seat and on the back.

Great chair, nice cust. service, but no hardware

I love this chair! It is super comfortable and sturdy. I am heavier than the average person and I'm not afraid to sit in this chair. The only complaint that I have about this chair is that it came with the back piece not connected, but each of the chairs that I bought came without the screws necessary to attach it to the chair frame, and no instructions to go by. The first one was never delivered, so I ordered another one, it wasn't the manufacturer's fault, more of a shipping company issue. I ordered a replacement, but it came without screws or directions. The quality was good, so I ordered another one, also without screws or directions. I know it's a small thing, but it's the only thing that reduced the rating from 5 to 4. I called customer service and was told that I would receive replacement screws in the mail but i have still not received them and it's been a month. Less

Will Return

I started a return on this but can't do until COVID stuff is over. It would be good if we were told a drill is necessary to put together -we don't own one and can't borrow from anyone these days. They could have predrilled holes but they did not, so it's impossible to put together properly without one -ours wobbles and the back is falling off already in less than 2 months. Also, the chair is somewhat uncomfortable but gets a little better over time. It's a horrific design, you have to lean back all the way at an akward angle to be even a little comfortable. On the plus side, it can support a tremendous amount of weight.

I'm a big girl. I wanted a big sturdy comfy chair now that I'm working from home at a desk all day. But something not so big, it impedes movement in the room. It came 99% put together! Enormous box. Worth it.Well this chair is everything I need and more. It couldn’t be more comfortable. It couldn’t be more sturdy. It’s stylish and classic looking. I have no complaints whatsoever. I highly doubt I will ever get a stain on it either because the fabric is perfect for A waiting room . Make sure you have a power drill on hand fully charged because there are no guide holes to screw the back in. I eyeballed it and it turned out great.It leans back far enough that you get to rest your back fully too. Fits flush under a standard desk. My cat midnight is in the photo and just so you know, he is a big cat! This is a nice big wide seat. 5 stars. Less
