Giant piece of crap ! This thing came totally broken ! The legs were all bent and the gold color was chipped off and spotty.
Marvelous stool with rich black upholstery.
Lovely stood with velvet upholstery in true black. The color is critical to me because so many fabrics in black have a blue cast. I'm using this at a vanity table in my bedroom and the brass legs are also perfect with the brass legs of the table. It's comfortable to sit on and just the right height to use with the table top and a mirror to put on makeup. All in all, the vanity and this stool have been great buys at Hayneedle!

Im re arranging my living room, waiting for other furniture to include these in my decor.
I plan to place two of these under my coffee table and they are just slightly too high for ease of sliding in and out. I will see about shortening them from the bottom.
Been keeping an eye on this specific ottoman for a while. didn't go with another brand. this arrived late. it is MUCH smaller and lighter (not as upscale) as I was expecting for the price. Not happy with it. it has a funny smell, the legs don't sit flush so it wobbles, the "legs" don't sit flush against the cushion and again I thought it was going to be much larger according to the specs given. It just looks cheap. I would actually like to return it for the amount I paid for it.
