This looks so beaiutofi; pm the [octire. bit O mjoml jeu sent ,e the wrong runner == this should be gold and it's a very dull brown, a kind of muddy color, and a dull olive green -- Quality is fine, but the colors are not at all what I expected, so it's going back. So BEWARE that the picture does not exactly represent what you ge in coloring. It looks more gold in the photo, and it's mostly a muddy brown with some bits of green. Doesn't even look like the same rug honestly.

the Safavieh Rugs are good quality -- Anything from Empire will be of good quality and durability. Looks are also very nice and the pile is thick.

I had purchased a different Empire rug recently, and the pile was very nice, thicker than some rugs. I decided that I liked it enough to look for another rug that was narrower (2 ft x 8 ft) -- the previous one I bought was 3ft x 8ft. I haven't even received the 2nd rug yet, but I wanted to say how much I like the backing on the rugs. Not all area rugs have a backing, some are just the back side of the rug with no cover, so you see the work, but it has no protection over it. Anyway, I am so glad these rugs have that layer of fabric on the back. It looks 'finished' -- and it will also protect the rug in the back. The rugs I bought are going over wood floors and over carpet (I also purchased a 6ft round area rug from Safavieh -- it's on its way to me right now. What I have found with the rugs is that they don't travel on a slick surface, they stay put. I have a few other rugs I bought as runners, that will be replaced because they slide everywhere on the carpet when you walk on them, they don't stay put. I do not have anything in th back of the Safavieh or Empire rugs, and they stay wherever you lay them, they don't travel when you walk on them. Thought I"d mention that because most times people don't say anything about this issue. I really do like their rugs and hope to get a few more in the near future.

Love the rug

I would order this again. It says black and ivory but there is a little bit of light green in it. But you can barely see it. Perfect in the living room. There is no fringe on the rug. I laid the rug I ordered over the old rug to see if I liked it. The old rug had the Fringe. This rug said no fringe and it does not have Fringe. Beautiful rug!
