Chairs are very nice- solid and comfortable. They work well with the matching IC table. A drill was very helpful with putting the chairs together versus the L wrench. Would recommend them to others.

Actually, I ordered the wrong color and exchanged it for the Cinnamon / Expresso. The Home Depot staff and International Concepts were wonderful to work with. I Amy very pleased with the exchange.

These chairs are fine. They serve their purpose. One of them is a little off center when assembled, as a result of the holes were placed. However, it is slight.

I like the style, but I have only been using them for a week or two so I wonder how they will hold up. The legs were attached with bolts and that seems strong to me. How ever the spacers and seat are only attached by screwing screws directly into the wood. That is the part I worry about not holding up over time. I will try to remember to never move them by picking them up by the seat.

I debated about ordering these chairs for so long and finely pulled the trigger. They are perfect and exactly what I wanted for my dining room table. The dark mocha color matches perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. Now, I just hope they are durable and last a long time.

Exactly What I Wanted

Very Sturdy Chair. Was easy to put together, once we did the first one. There are no labels on the legs and we didn't realize there was a right and left one until we attached them and it didn't look right. Also there is no guide to center the seat. Once we figured that all out it took about 5 minutes to put the next chair together. They are comfy without a cushion. Perfect for my kitchen table. These are replacing leather upholstered chairs that were not comfortable at all.

I love, love my chairs! Nice and heavy. I need six more. I'm not a very handywomen person. But I got the put together. However; the cost to had them assemble before shipment may be a bit to much.

The chairs look great and are exactly what I wanted. I wish there were a few more instructions or tips in the directions for getting the front legs lined up correctly with the back legs and the middle bar. Also you really need to leave all the screws a bit loose until the whole chair is assembled before tightening everything into place. I made mistakes with both those things. But the end result is great.

These chairs were very easy to assemble, extremely sturdy, and have a great finish. We are very pleased with our decision to purchase these. They look great with our table. The trickiest part of the assembly was installing the seat using four blind screws. We found that placing the chair upside down on a padded card table was a convenient way to position the chair for seat install (see photos). Best if a second person is there to assist with holding the seat in place for at least the first couple of screws. A cordless power drill was also a valuable asset for all of the screw installs.

GREAT Chair! I had no problems putting the chairs together and they are very, very sturdy! The finish is medium glossy and looks great! (I had purchased 2 sets and all 4 are great!). Oh, the packaging was first rate! The one tip I can give is: screw together the bottom support bars and add them to the back legs as you are adding in the front legs. The directions have you screw in the front legs then the support bars and I ended up having to undo the front legs and add the support bars concurrently. The next 3 chair assemblies were a breeze once I knew this "trick"!

These chairs are top quality, sturdy, wood and look great. They are relatively easy to assemble but if you are doing more than a couple, I'd suggest using a power tool for the screws. The customer service is fantastic - one of the seats was damaged and they had the replacement to me in just a couple of days. We've had many compliments on the chairs from friends and neighbors - Highly recommended.

Perfect Match

So, I purchased 4 (soon to be 6) of these chairs. I was wanting chairs that would match a table I already had. They matched PERFECTLY. They are solid chairs and so far have taken a beating from my 4 year old. However, I'd like to point out a difference between the chairs pictured and the chairs I received. The chairs I received have a cross bar in the middle between the leg supports. My husband lovingly refers to that cross bar as the "Achilles Breaker." As for color, which is tough to match, I want people to know that this isn't an espresso (black/brown). It's a true java. It's a medium/dark brown with a slight reddish undertone to it.

These chairs need to be assembled. The instructions were pretty clear. The only issue is attaching the seat. There are four screws that attach the seat from underneath. This required making a temporary support for the seat so it can be done by one person, unless you have 3 arms. The other issue is the seat has a hole for one screw that doesn't align with anything. Therefore, to prevent cracking of the seat, some driling is required. Just be careful not to drill to deeply or the screws will penetrate the seat. Other than that issue, they assembled fairly easily. They are sturdy and attractive. A good value for the price.

Chairs from 'International Concepts' are really great pieces. Already had 4 true maple chairs but did not want to spend the same $ to match. 'IC' offered many similar, as well as not-so-similar designs for fraction of cost. Solid wood construction using rubberwood, which is a solid hardwood with good grain patterns. Unstained it has a tonal value of red oak, but brown.

Solid, attractive chairs. They seem sturdy and have a nice heft to them. The chairs actually have a cross beam across the bottom leg supports so that the stretchers form an H-shape. We knew this from checking the instruction manual and looking at the manufacturer's website however, and I think it looks more attractive anyway. I knocked one star off because one of the chair backs was missing the wood insert nuts that the bolts screw in to. However I called the manufacturer and they quickly mailed me some inserts and they were fairly easy to install. Overall, we are really happy with these chairs.
