Terrible. Quality is poor and the dowels broke off while putting it together and caused one shelf to split making the whole unit unable to be completed and usable as dowels are broken off inside the holes. Ive had several cabinets like this with similar construction that Ive never had this much trouble with. I dont know if I got a bad one or its this particular product. Also, this one is no better quality than ones for half the price. So not worth the extra I paid in hope of getting a bit better quality. Right now I just have a pile of useless junk. Going to contact Wayfair and see if theres anything theyre willing to do. Not sure how Id send it back at this point. So upset that Ive wasted my time and possibly 200 if they wont give a refund. This app also will not allow me to upload more than 1 photo!

I like the looks of the bookcase very much. Unfortunately, it did not go together very well. The instructions were easy to follow and I had the entire piece completely put together except for the last piece. The top. The holes for the cam posts were too large, causing the posts to be inserted too far into the wood. They would not lock into place like they are supposed to. The bottom also has cam posts, which worked perfectly. Aside from that, I set the whole thing up and laid the top piece on without locking it and the whole bookcase was tilted to the side. So even if the cam posts had locked correctly, the bookcase was visibly crooked. Now I have to go through the process of taking it apart and re-boxing it to send it back.

The backing also was not the right size; one side of the back is not attached to the main unit at all because it was splitting the shelf wall due to the nail hole being too close to the edge. I do not recommend this shelving unit to anyone.

I ordered this shelf and had it sent to my daughter home since I would not be home at receiving date. After checking the pieces I was very disappointed to find the side piece in the front had the veneer strip off center and part of it missing at the top. This was very frustrating as I had taken it to a care center for a family member to use and found this problem as my husband and I were putting it together. We brought it home and made a 30 min. trip to a Home Depot store to return it. We have ordered a new shelf and hope all is okay with it when we open and put it together. There was no problem with returning this item at the store.

The first one broke after a month

These were perfect for hiding all the clutter in my room. I got 2 and put them on either side of my window. Looks great and hide all the stuff.

Well made and solid. Purchased this for our first year college student fir her apartment and it fits her style perfectly. Is not tippy and suits her needs well.

Flimsy

Over the years, I've assembled many press board items of furniture, but none as flimsy as this. It was so wobbly, I took it apart and wouldn't use it for fear it would collapse with the slightest weight. As I had assembled it, I suppose it is impossible to get my money back. I home my misfortune can forewarn others so they don't flush money away on this product.

Great little shelf for my 5 year olds room.

I was really disappointed with this shelf. I was hoping it’d be sturdier than it really is. It works for kids books, but it wobbles really bad. I’m going to have to attach wood to the back to keep it from moving around. For the price, it isn’t worth it.

The top layer of the back of one of the shelves was peeling at the edge. It wasn’t very visible, so we just kept it.
