The quality of the material is very high. The thickness is less than ideal. This same material is commonly used in fitness centers but is at least twice as thick. The thinner material does not provide as much shock absorption or padding under foot. So far, after about a month of use, I have not experienced any problems. If I could have found the thicker floor mats, I would have purchased them. The 1/4-inch thick mats have met my needs.

Very heavy and poorly packaged. Just in a cardboard box and not wrapped in plastic. UPS left it in the rain. Looks good now that it is down.

I had this mat down for only two days before about a four inch tear started at the edge. I rolled it back up and will be returning. For this kind of money I expect better quality.

[Rewarded Review] Dense and heavy and perfect

This mat is a heavy duty and dense rubber matt. It is compress and glued with little shards or material, but the final composition is pretty decent. Unlike most people using this mat as a shop floor mat, this mat will be under my treadmill which destroyed the cheaply made mat that came with it. Unlike most photos, I wanted buyers to see images that are close-up. Two of the attached images are 30x magnification.

This mat is amazing. It is so thick and cushions your feet so well. This black mat has a texture built right into the design so it makes it slip resistant. It is waterproof. You can cut to fit a custom area. I put it on the floor area of my boat. It works great. Easy to use. I attached mine to the floor, but wvwn without attaching it - it stays in place. Easy to clean.

We were pleased with this padding. Got it to use under gym equipment, over carpeting. Had to used double-sided tape to hold it down good. But then it stayed put. Unfortunately, we moved from that house a few months later. Pulling up the padding wasn't bad. The tape did not leave residue on the carpet, thankfully! And most of it came off the padding ok. We now have it under our gym equipment in the new house, on top of wood flooring. No tape required. Wish it was a little thicker for this - as the house is on concrete slab. There was an extra piece left over so I used it to double up in one area.

[Rewarded Review] The seriously heavy duty mat

I needed a heavy duty mat to stand on in my shop. I was tired of mats that moved around and I did not want to anchor it to the floor. I also needed it to be quite large so that I was not stepping off the mat. I couldn't have selected a better product. This is a seriously heavy duty mat. I've already started using it as you could see in the pictures. I already noticed a difference when working there for the entire day. It's also nice to be able to put something down on the ground without it marring. If you're looking for something that's extremely heavy duty, will last a lifetime, and is large enough that you don't have to worry about stepping off of it then this is the mat for you. There is no backing to wear out or face to become worn. This is simply exactly what you want which is a heavy duty rubber mat. It's non-slip as well. I was walking on it after I took those pictures with wet boots and actually tried to make my boots slip and they did not.

[Rewarded Review] Exercise Room Approved!

I ordered the Rubber-Cal Elephant Bark Black 1/4 in. T x 48 in. W x 78 in. L Rubber Flooring (26 sq. ft.) for my exercise room. This rug is very heavy, but does an excellent job protecting the floor. I am using it under my treadmill which helps it stay in place as I run while protecting the floor from scratch marks. It’s rubber, so it does have a smell to it, but it went away quickly. I would recommend this for any exercise room.

[Rewarded Review] Rubber-Cal 48" x 78" mat

This Rubber-Cal flooring mat that I received measured 48"x73" (not 78"). It has many uses in the home or garage. It will make a great exercise mat or flooring for anywhere that a cushioned surface is desired. It is available in a variety of sizes. I like the thickness of 1/4" and it is not a flimsy mat although it does crack if folded. It weighs 32.8 pounds so it will stay in place very well. Since it is water resistant and non-skid, I am trying it out on my garage ramp. I like that it is made with recycled, discarded US tires and rubber. There is a limited 3-year warranty on this product.

This is a high quality mat which I wanted for my garage when I need to wok on something on the floor. I get ally build things on a workbench but some projects are just too large. The nearly 3/8” thickness is great for this application

I bought 5 of these for my grandson play ground. It worked perfect! Allows him to run around without gettingbdirt everywhere and go into the pool. Easy to clean and the water runs right off.

Perfect for my garage gym floor. Cuts down noise and adds the padding I was hoping for from the cement. Easy to lay down and keeps some of the cold away also.
