great little accent lamp

Great accent lamp for small ledge area over storage cupboard at built in shelves. Enough light for short task, if needed. Otherwise not meant for extensive reading, Very minimal footprint - techno presence. The nickel base makes it very absent in overall decor.

Pretty lighting

I bought two of these for our bedside tables. I love the soft lighting and the dimmer switch on them. We got the larger size and they don't take up much room so size is great. My husband doesn't think they throw off enough light. I think they're ver pretty.

I like this lamp so much, I'm buying another one-bigger size. Very chic/modern, well made and the dimmer is very useful.

Elise Table Lamp

I know own two of these lamps. The first one I bought about 12 years ago and it still works like the first day we got it. I love the dimmer, it takes up hardly any space and is sleek and clean in design.

Beautiful lamp...however

This lamp is beautiful. It gives just the right amount of mood lighting. I would definitely not rely on it to give you good reading light if the rest of the lights in the bedroom are off. I initially bought this light 3 years ago, and purchased another one to compliment the first lamp. What a change in quality for the worse! First, my old Elise lamp had a black washer attached underneath the socket to keep the socket in place. The new lamp I received did not have this washer and the socket wobbled like crazy! I called customer service to exchange the lamp because I believed that mine was defective. The lamp that was given to me as a replacement had the same issue. Also, both lamps had a lot of dried glue on the base. My lamp that I bought 3 years ago, did not. Seems like Pablo has gotten sloppy with the manufacturing of this particular lamp. Alas, I kept the replacement that ylighting sent to me because I really wanted the lamp.

Poor construction

Crudy mechanics....one of the 2 doors does not open. Calling them tomorrow.

plastic cover bubbled and melted!

poor quality product all around...after about 3 months of use, tiny bubbles started to appear on the plastic cover...6 months later the cover started to warp near the bulb...garbagre

I love it!

I have loved the elise light for several years. I bought two of the floor sized Lights 5 or 6 years ago. This time I bought 2 of the 18" size and love them as much as my original two

Just what I expected!!!!!!!

The customer representative was competent and helpful. The product arrived in a timely fashion and looks great. All in all it was a great interaction which one rarely experiences.

My second Elise Table lamp is just as good as my first!

I've enjoyed my 12" Elise lamp for several years and when it came time to find a well-designed light for a new bedroom, the Elise came to mind. The location I was wanting to illumine was in front of a double window on a maple double-wide dresser. It called out for an Elise 18" lamp and that is what I purchased. With the in-line dimmer switch, I can use it for mood lighting during daytime or at full illumination at night. Just beautiful, understated and lovely!

Great night table lamp with clean lines. Love the Designer and have purchased other lighting by him and have been very pleased. I have never been disappointed with a purchase from Ylighting.

Elise Table Lamp

I love this lamp!! It's my second one. I had the first one for about 12 years before it gave out on me. I use it as a bedside light, and when the original conked out, I missed it! So, I re-ordered the same one. I love that it is on a dimmer... perfect for reading, and also offers low light when not ready to wake up! It's perfect!

Love this lamp!

I had purchased this lamp several years ago and have it sitting on a glass table in my foyer. Thought it would look even better if it had a mate so I purchased another one. Now my foyer table looks amazing!

Variable and soft lighting

The light shade is of lower quality than it was 10 years ago, when I bought my first Elise, but the light quality is still great.

Classic contemporary design, but dim.

I purchased this having a very good idea of the aesthetic of the lamp, and it was exactly as expected. What was unexpected was how dim it is. I purchased with the idea of using it as a bedside lamp to read by, and it is really not adequately bright for that. The manufacturer advises not to exceed a small 40W bulb, as it may melt the covering. So I think it depends on your purpose and what other lighting you have. Just be aware of the issue.
