Just what we needed
We needed a smaller end table in our newly finished basement. This table did the trick! It was just the right size for the area next to our loveseat!
Shameful
On checking the contents of the box, I found there was 1 screw missing. When almost finished inserting the remaining screws, and turned the table upright, all the screws I applied, immediately fell out with the exception of 4. Then when repacking the table for return, a trim piece that appeared to be sent with 2 screws in, came loose, and exposed the drops of glue that had been applied but did not hold. There were places on the legs and on the top of the table where paint was missing. There was even a place that appeared to have been patched. Just shameful. Of course, when looking back at the photo online, this table was such a disappointment.
This table was very difficult to put together. It should have come with pre-drilled holes. I was disappointed that there was a flaw in the grain on the top of the table that looks more like a stain. Hired a handyman to put it together and it's really nice and sturdy, now.
Nice Table
This is a nice side table. The wood is good quality and it was easy to assemble. The only things I would point out is not all of the holes for the screws were properly pre-drilled and the finish on the top of the table seems like it will show scratches easily. Both of these are items my husband can fix by drilling the pilot 3 holes that were missed and putting an extra top coat on. Even so, it fits my purpose and I would bug it again.
Not accurately pictured
The color of the table online was very misleading!! It was described as cherry, but looked like walnut. Well, I thought a very dark cherry would blend with the room. It was a very bright orange. Totally useless for the room. Also, there was a large knot right the top. This table would look nice in a Vermont summer home. You need to replace that picture and describe it as knotty pine!! Boy, what a poor picture and description.

I was a bit disappointed when I first got this as it was advertised as aged tobacco rather than aged cherry; therefore the finish is much more cherry tone than I desired. Additionally, it was missing a number of predrilled holes making it a bit more complicated than it should have been to put together. While I still don't love the finish, it is the perfect size and height with a simple yet interesting design that I love.

It was inexpensive so you are getting what you pay for. It looks good. Small. Unstable. Biggest gripe is that it does not come with pre-drilled holes to assemble it. So drilling small pilot holes and screwing in the screws to the laminated wood at the angles needed to assemble it, are bound to crack it in several places.Which happened to us. Hate buying something new and then ending up with a damaged piece of furniture. And too much of a pain to then take apart and ship back

Very modern end tables that match with my whole apartment look! I purchased 2 for both sides of my grey couch. Tables are sturdy and a nice weight. The size is perfect for me and my smaller lamps, but if you have large lamps, these end tables might be a little too small for you. The quality of the "wood" is OK, hence the 4 star review. When putting the pieces together, the wood in one corner split a little, but that was my fault using the screw gun. Be careful when assembling and all will be fine!

I bought this side table to match one I already had bought a few years ago and I was glad to see that the design has not changed. They match perfectly. It is a nice warm reddish-brown color and the diagonal bars across the sides make for a unique piece that is attractive but still simple enough rhat it doesn't take away from the other furniture in the room. They look wonderful next to my sofas. One of the told did come with a mark on it that I wasn't sure if it was part of the wood or not, it was a light spot that stood out, but a little bit of mahogonney wood pen cleared it up easily and now you don't even see it. Overall I'm really pleased!

This is a lovely side table - beautiful color, just perfect in my living room, matching very well with other cherrywood pieces I have. While not obviously the most expensive looking piece, I feel it has a great quality look to it and compliments my room and furniture just as I was hoping for. I do have to say along with other reviews, the assembly was not the easiest we have done, but not terribly difficult and really with the proper tools, only took my husband a short time to put together. He did use some good muscle work just to insure it was together well, but he said nothing any worse than any other furniture he has assembled for me. We are very happy with our purchase and especially with the price. It also came within a very reasonable time frame. Would highly recommend.
Perfect size, excellent table.
This table was originally purchased as a companion piece to "Winsome Wooden Cappuccino Finish Storage Xola TV Stand - TV Stand" in our family room, but even though we liked it...we loved it in the Livingroom more. The geometric inserts are a nice touch...the finish is beautiful...the materials sturdy and installation? I put it together in about 20 minutes. As you can see from the pictures, it is the perfect size for a large "comfy" chair....something that was proving hard to acquire due to the chairs overall size. I'd definitely reccomend this for any part of your house! The price is right and the table attractive & sturdy.
Very nice
I bought this when it was around $41.00 , and I feel that is a good price point for this item, but I would not pay the $100.28 they are asking now. I actually was intending on buying another one today, but decided to go elsewhere. Looking around online I found it for just a little more than what I paid the first time. So I will be buying it from them. What a shame ! I would recommend this to a friend tho . It came well packaged and surprisingly fast. Mostly easy to put together. Really does have a nice look to them.
You have to get out your drill and drill about 20 holes, to finish the manufacturing, as opposed to assembly.
I have to give this table a very bad review because the customer is expected to finish manufacturing, as opposed to assembly. In fact, I was not expecting to have to do any assembly at all, and looking back over the item description, I still can't find anything that mentions that it has to be assembled. It goes together with dowels and wood screws. There are six parts: the top, the lower shelf, the two pre-assembled sides, and two rails that go under the top and span the distance between the two pre-assembled sides. The first step is to join the lower shelf and the two rails to one of the two sides. The dowels are supposed to fit snugly enough to determine where the parts come together, but they were too loose in one part and too tight in the other. The rails attach via pocket screws, but there should have been pre-drilled holes in the side sub-assemblies. There were pre-drilled holes in the rails, where the screws slip through freely, i.e., without the threads cutting/engaging, but in the side sub-assemplies, where the screw threads have to cut their way in, there were no pre-drilled holes. In total I believe there were twenty-two screws that went in this way, and no pre-drilled holes for any of them. I stubbornly tried to do it the way they apparently expect you to do it, i.e., just pushing on the screws hard enough to get them started, but by the time I got to where you set the top upside down on the floor and flip the other assembled part over on top of it, to attach the top, my hands were hurting, and even though I was probably applying close to 50 pounds of force to start the screws, I could not get them started. So I bit the bullet and went and got my drill, which in retrospect is what I should have done at the start. You have to drop the lower part onto the upside-down top using the dowels to locate, then use a punch or long drill bit or similar to mark the location for the holes, then remove the lower part and drill the holes, then get out your vacuum cleaner to clean up the mess. And when you drill into the top, you risk drilling completely through, but if you don't drill, then you risk splitting the wood, which is one very important reason why the holes should have been pre-drilled. It probably took me an hour, whereas it would have been no more than fifteen minutes if all the holes had been pre-drilled like they should have been. An additional complaint is that there were a couple of small but very conspicuous blemishes on the top of mine, due to some sort of debris having fallen onto the top while the finish was drying. Because these two blemishes stood proud of the surface by perhaps a millimeter, I didn't really have any choice but to cut them up. I did that very carefully with a sharp knife, and even though I was careful not to cut any larger or deeper than was necessary, I now have two obvious spots where there is no finish. My choices now are to go buy some kind of wood putty and do a repair that likely will be imperfect and that I should not have to do, or else return it. At least, I am allowed to return it to a nearby Target store, but then I will have wasted all that time and effort putting it together. And where in the product description for this table is there even any mention of the need to assemble it at all?
Difficult to assemble. Alignment off. Many parts.
Purchased two of them and the matching desk. Hard to assemble because holes don't align. The tight angles made it difficult to use a power drill or long screw driver for leverage. Looks nice in the end but took way too long to put together. Lots of screws. Ended up splitting the wood where the screw holes were angled close to the edge and went right through the corner. The wood is very nice and true to color. The price is the only thing that makes this even somewhat worthwhile.
Not that easy to assemble
I consider myself somewhat handy, but this was a challenge. The instructions were only vague diagrams. Nowhere did it say you needed to drill pilot holes for all of the screws, but you do! If you try doing it without, it just keeps pushing the pieces apart or you are in danger of stripping the screws head or even breaking the screw. Maybe the two I bought missed the pilot hole drilling process, but for it to happen to just the two I got seems unlikely. The great thing is, they look beautiful and feel solid, when you are finished.
Looks nice but a pain to assemble
Despite an instruction pamphlet with very simple instruction, understanding how to assemble was fairly easy. However, actual assembly was a pain. There are no pre-made holes for the screws to go in, so you are expected to just screw it in straight with a Phillips head screw driver (not included). The wood is soft, but not that soft. I was only able to get my screw a third of the way in (after much force and effort) before it started stripping. I gave up trying to force the screw in and used the screws to create indents in the wood to mark where I would need to use a drill bit to create the holes. That certainly made assembling the table easier. There are diagonal screws that go into the legs up into the table top- I did only one of those before giving up- it wasn't worth the effort. Even without the diagonal screws, it was structurally sound. I made do with what I was given. Table looks nice and is sturdy, but it was a real pain to assemble. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble 2 of these.
Nearly impossible to assemble
I would comment on the look of the piece, but I have not yet managed to assemble it. The two large side pieces do not have any holes for the screws. The wood seems quite hard and you need to screw in the screws by hand. I have a power screw driver, but there is too little space to use it. I tried using the power screw driver to create my own pilot holes, but the wood was too tough even for the power screw driver. This is crazy to assemble at home. You would never guess that such a simplistic looking piece would be such a challenge. I am almost ready to call it quits. I am terribly disappointed.
Beautiful But Challenge to Assemble
This is a beautiful table, exactly what I wanted, and the picture was accurate as to color, etc. It arrived promptly and in good condition. Assembling it was another matter--not technically difficult at all but a real physical challenge. The screws must be driven directly into the wood. There are no pilot holes. You cannot use a drill to drive in the screws because in most places there is not enough clearance for the drill housing. I am a 66 year old physically fit female with no aches and pains. I have put together several pieces of furniture in the past, including much larger items. I was not able to put this together on my own and had to call my son for help. I would recommend this table only to a man or an exceptionally powerful female.
Surprisingly nice
This table is great! Very nice dark brown color, beautiful design, nice quality. The wood grain on the top is such a pretty pattern. The plan for this table was to put it in the corner between two chairs, but it looks so nice and of such a high quality that we don't really want to hide it! It is a very sturdy table and for the price, we couldn't be happier with this purchase! The one problem with this table is that in putting it together there were no predrilled holes for the screws. Do they really want you to just twist screws blindly into this beautiful wood? Or is that just an error on the table we were delivered? We ended up predrilling our own holes for the screws. It is very sturdy now.
