It's NOT wood

this seat is NOT wood- it's plastic with tiny specks of wood inside the plastic.

Affordable & Sturdy

The seat itself has a wooden core that makes it sturdy. The hinges have clear plastic liners that protect the porcelain toilet bowl. It looks nice, and it's so easy to clean! I'm very pleased with this product.

Easy to install, fit perfectly. Just got them 2 weeks ago, so hopefully they hold up. At their price, they better.

defective part

This looked like a very nice toilet seat but unfortunately one of the silicone washers that came with it did not fit in the hinge properly so the seat would not tighten down securely and evenly. If we tightened it enough to keep it from moving it pulled off to the left side leaving the seat uncentered. I called customer service hoping they would just send me a replacement washer that would snap in the hinge like the other one did but they do not send out parts. I will be returning the seat and purchasing a different model that hopefully will be defect free.

Best toilet seat

The description is true to the product. Have never been happier with a toilet seat. No stains or smells of urine.
