this seat is NOT wood- it's plastic with tiny specks of wood inside the plastic.

Excellent product

I am very happy with this style of toilette seat. The top coating make it easy to clean and looks good. I will actually replace our other toilette seats with the same product.

We ditched our plastic seat looking for something sturdier and more comfortable. This seat is well made, substantial in appearance and easy to install. It adjust to body temperature better than plastic.
