Cheap and thin

Bought four panels for my living room. First order was darker than pictured, so ordered lighter color. Still darker than pictured. Out of the packaging, they felt so light and thin and I wondered how they could be blackout curtains. Do a decent job of blocking the light, but for the money, they look shiny, cheap and less than substantial. Stuck with the purchase, will hang these, while I get my original drapes dry cleaned. If it’s a plus for you these Elrene Home Fashion Drapes are washable.

Gorgeous but FYI!

These are beautiful BUT hard to hang on a 3-inch rod (pockets on some valances had to be widened) and for a wide window requiring a long rod, it took some brainstorming. Also, to get the look it shows with multiple valances, you need to closely examine the picture to see what order valances are hung. You will need to gather valances very closely to get the longer loop as shown in the picture. I had a window length of 114 inches, I required 7 valances tightly gathered. Now that it's done, I can't stop looking at the finished project! It was worth the work!

A nice dressy, finished look.

I bought 2 valances for each window to achieve the look as advertised. I was worried about the fit, since my width measurement was 46". No worries if you buy two. The color was a concern also because I wanted a subtle bronze gold without being brown. The bronze gold is prefect to achieve that old world look! They were a good price on sale, maybe even "cheap," but the valances are not cheap looking after you put them on the rods and hang. They are a nice look that adds a little bit of glamour to the room without being too feminine. My husband does like them. My next step is to get rid of the fake wood blinds behind the sheer curtain. I bought the ones with braid and not beads and they are a perfect amount of "foo-foo". A really nice addition to the master bedroom.

With pictures from overstock.com and a little study I was able to get the effect I was looking for. The valances are very good quality and I am very pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a awesome waterfall effect. I purchased several as I had to cover two windows which were fairly large in size. Eight All Season Waterfall Window Valance in Taupe

The eight all season waterfall window valances quality was excellent and color was a match for my living room deco. I hope I bought enough of them (8) for my living room and dining room because I did not take any measurements. I did not buy enough drapes and must order more. But that's fine. The problems I had was that I did not figure in the fact that I needed two rod for the drapes and valances. Pros were that I did not know that tie backs was included in the purchase per drape.

Didn't live up to what I expected

They weren't quite as nice as I expected. You have to study the picture carefully when putting up like a photo. Also, make sure you purchase the correct double rod set because as I found out not just any will work correctly. I wasn't paying close enough attention and fell in love with a certain curtain rod because it matched my theme. Of course, after we started to put them up we soon found out not only was the rod dented, it was not the right kind. I had to wait until I had the room painted before I removed the items completely from the packaging. I could have and should have returned the defective items, but I was in a pinch and not a lot of patience. I needed the privacy so I elected to keep them even though the rod was dented and I had to make it fit, The valance rod was the wrong kind, it shouldn't have had the middle hook and I had to put up the curtains incorrectly. Hopefully, no one will notice. It is not an easy process putting them up. One drape was stained and I hope the stain came out in the wash because there is still one set that is not up. They are extremely wrinkled too. I hope you have a steam dryer to help with the very bad wrinkles. In this case, you get what you pay for. I love ******** but they fell short for me with this.
