Do Not Buy this rug

The company will say "shedding is normal", but this rug doesn't just shed, it actually looses yarn with great ease which means it is technically a "raw" rug. If you have pets, or if you simply plan to walk on this rug, know that it will fall apart. When you get it in the mail and discover the problem, Rugsusa will insist you pay the return for a rug that should never be sold in the first place. Save yourself the time and effort and find a better quality rug dealer.

Worth the wait

I had been waiting for this to restock in the size and color I wanted for months. When it finally did I had another 3 months to wait for our house remodel to wrap up. Let me tell you it was worth it. I initially bought this for my office space but the tassels kept getting stuck under to door. It's now in our great room and I couldn't be more in love with it in this space. We don't have a rug pad under it yet so it slide very easily on the tile floor, especially with two dogs wrestling and running around on it. It's easy to spot clean and vacuums well. I would purchase it again and am considering it in the blue color for my office space (just sizing down). I do want to note that some of the edges are uneven. Keep in mind It is a handwoven rug so I kind of expected that. It doesn't look bad at all, but lined up against my tile grout lines, you can see it if you have an eye for that. I'm usually very hyper focused on those things, but it honestly hasn't bothered me at all. I barely notice it now that we are using the space.

I wasn't expecting this rug to be as plush and heavy as it is. I ordered the pad based on other reviews, but in my living room with a lot of furniture on it, I'm not sure it was needed. I was also reluctant to order a rug with any fringe (dust collects and my OCD makes it hard to not constantly straighten them! LOL), but they're not long and are made of kind of a sturdy string so I don't expect them to fray quickly or tangle. I waited for this to come back in stock for a long time and then it was on sale so I'm very happy with it!

Tasseled rug

I wanted so bad to like this rug. All the reviews were good. However upon receiving it, it was a little damp and had a strong smell. I kept it for a few weeks hoping to love it. It shed like crazy the whole time even after using my Dyson multiple times weekly. It looked so dingy including the fringe on the ends. It also had random pulls in various places. For a brand new rug that I paid over $700 for, it looked so old! It just wasn’t the rug I was hoping for. I ended up returning it. It looks really nice in the pic but... not in person lol

I opened my brand new rug to find cockroaches inside. I emailed customer service and they still have not provided a resolution. I have never had this happen before and it is very dissapointing.

Updated my living room with this rug. It’s the perfect blend of plush comfort underfoot and modern design. Certainly transformed my space as I’d hoped. Definitely need to get a more substantial pad to prevent slippage but well worth it!

it's so gorgeous and luxurious 10/10!

This was a nice rug, I was pleasantly surprised. I did have some issues with shipping and it was very moist inside the plastic packaging, but nothing air drying couldn’t solve. My decor is very neutral and this fit the vibe. It’s easy to vacuum which is important with having pets. It definitely looks like an expensive rug you would buy at a furniture store but for a fraction of the price.
