I ordered three of these counter stools, and we were able to put them together quickly. A couple of the legs are wobbly, and will need an adjustment, but they seem to be sturdy overall. I prefer hardwoods to rubber wood, but the price of hardwood stools are much higher and these look nice. We used a gel stain and the wood took it well for the most part. The stain on one stool did go on a bit patchy, but looked better after a little sanding. Overall, for the price, I would recommend these.
