Works great

Have been using it for over half a year - works great. I appreciate the clean design and simplicity of use. The timer is excellent - set it to turn off after some number of minutes.

Terribly underpowered. A big disappointment. I had a single burner that I mostly used on a middle setting so I thought this would be fine, but it’s not even giving me half the power at 100 of its power. It takes more than 15min to boil water. Keep looking.

Much weaker than advertised

I used a Victron shunt on a stand alone 20amp circuit to check the power usage of the unit. The right element on "high" topped out at ~950W and the larger element on the left topped out at ~910W. Both of these numbers are lower than the advertised specs (1300 and 1800 respectively) and indicate the smaller element actually has the higher output.

Energy efficient, fast response to temp changes.

I am sorry I did not purchase this cooktop years ago. Induction cooking uses less electricity than the alternative.

Smart Induction Cooker

This induction cooker is the best one I have used. I put it on the left side of the gas stove. The control of the two stoves is interoperable. Keep 1800w, it will not trip due to excessive current, the noise is small, and the lack of tail is timing control. Start I like to start every minute and set it to start every hour. This comment is edited with translation software, sorry if it is not smooth

Easy all around

The empava induction cooktop is simply the easiest stovetop I’ve used. It’s easy to install, just needing to be plugged in. The hand touch interface is simple, and you’re able to lock it in case your pets or children play around it. Easy to wipe down, and doesn’t stay hot to the touch after you turn it off. Highly recommend if you’re in the market for a new cooktop!

Works well

I purchased this for my basement kitchenette build. I wanted something simple like what you would find at a hotel. This product fulfills my needs in that regard, it is 120V, I have it on a dedicated 20 Amp circuit. It looks good and you can use it to cook, it also cools down fast and has a lockout feature. If you need a small cooktop that is 120V, this is fits the bill.

Beeping not bad

Its a good size, power ratings seem to be good, however the constant beeping is a right pain. Plug it in, Beep, Turn on, Beep, change the power beep, turn on the 2nd ring, beep, change power beep, turn off beep, turn off 2nd beep. Lift the pan to move the contents, beep, lift a pan to flip a pancake beep, leave it away from the pan for more than 3 seconds, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep beep

Great Product, as advertised!

I purchased this unit for my motor home and could not be happier. It performs as promised. Compared to the electric unit I replaced it heats in a fraction of the time. The quality is top notch and the installation could not have been easier. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fast easy upgrade.

Great for a small kitchen

We were looking for a small cooktop for the basement kitchen. Many cooktops have 220 V, but we needed something at 120 volts due to the power constraint. This cooktop was precisely what we needed and has 120 volts. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. It didn’t take much countertop space either. You can just put it on top of the countertop surface or embed it in the countertop. We were so happy to have found it.

Arrived in perfect condition. Easy installation. I was unfamiliar with “induction cooktop” but am happy to report that it boils water at record time! Just use pots and pans that attract a magnet. Also has great safety features.

I bought this product (an induction cooktop) and as soon as I started using it I fell in love. This cooktop is easy to use, easy to clean and so efficient! Cooks faster than a regular burner style, while using less electricity. Smooth glass allows for the easiest cleanup.

Looks great! Works Great! Very user friendly. Looks like very expensive stove, our first time with a glass top, we just love it! Fancy easy to use heat up quickly easy to clean. Best of all its not taking a lot of my kitchen room. Awesome cooktop, heats well. Be sure to use good flat pots and pans. Use correct size lids and don’t let moisture drip on hot surface. It will cloud up and is hard to get off.

Best Way to Cook. Recommend this Cooktop.

Induction cooking is very efficient and gives great temperature control. No wasted heat energy heating up the kitchen as the heat energy is delivered directly into to cookware (need induction ready cookware - if a magnet will stick to it, it will work). Perfect replacement for a propane cooktop in my RV. This stove provides the convenience of two burners, which requires a dedicated 20 amp 120 volt circuit. Safety features like power sharing between burners and locking power buttons are good too. And an easy to clean top.

Buy a whole new set of pots and pans.

It looks good and everything but believe me you need to read the instruction thoroughly and these by itself can be frustrating when it comes to just heating up water. If you have a countertop that you don't mind opening a hole so that you can fit this gadget in. I guess that's fine but the work by itself can be lengthy anf dusty to say the least. If you are looking for a cheap way to get around buying and actual stove. It won't work because they recomendvthatvyou get an expert to install this burner if you are planning on getting one yourself. But two things come to play. If you are in the right setting with plenty of time and money on your hands . It can give your kitchen a nice clean look and it placed in the right place it can definatly improved your social skills but I would not know for sure if it will do the same for your cooking skills. I know that may sound oxy but in life you don't always get what you want specially if you are hetting around the real deal. My advice: try to get a real stove. $200 there plus pots and pans plus instalation if you have the right set upand hopefully the proper countertop equals; do the math. Nice looking gadget but it falls short from it's own expectations and slow burning set of instructions. Afterall we are only talking about a basic necessity.

Empava Electric Stove Induction Cook-top was our pick during the kitchen makeover. The old electric stove top was from the 1970s and did not work. When I saw that the Empava 20.5 in. Electric Induction Cook-top Horizontal 2-Element Burner ran on 120V and could be used as a countertop unit we knew this was the right purchase. Great space saver! Fastest cooking cook top! Easy cleaning and Storage!

Only will do 1800 Watts total

I love the design and functionality until I found that if I put one burner at 1100 watts and then try to use the second burner at 1100 watts it automatically reduces the first burner to 700 watts. Aghhh... I had a stovetop that was 1500 on one side and 500 on the other and I only bought this because I needed high power to both sides. I used that other stovetop for years with no issues, so for many people this may not be a problem at all. However, I will return this one and see if I can get another without this limitation. I guess this is the limitation of a standard plug in. Good thing I tried it out before cutting the hole in island.I like the stovetop. I might pick their 4 burner version instead.

Good Value for the money!

Excellent Quality and Powerful! The electronic controls are sensitive and easy to operate. I was looking for a stove that has a large (12 inch) pot capacity and my 12 inch pan works fine. It would have been better if the user manual says the burner size/ diameter as well. Overall Good Value for the money!
