I love the looks, however the drain was problematic because it constantly has a slow leak when filled up. Empava sent me a new one which was chrome instead of brushed nickel but it still has the slow leak. Not sure how to resolve this problem

Love the shape and the size of this acrylic tub. It's perfectly deep enough to cover me completely when soaking and it's comfortable to sit in without water splashing over.

My Husband was Right

We built our own house and my husband insisted on having a tub but I was resistant. He picked it out and we get nothing but compliments on the look. It’s in our teen’s bathroom and she loves it. Great quality and very fair price.

Luxury soakiing tub

I love my new Empava, freestanding soaking tub! It looks great in my recently remodeled master bath. One thing Empava should consider is to have the drain an overflow hardware to have other options for the finish. Right now, it only comes with a brush nickel finish. I did get in touch with BB& Beyond ink for the specs so I can chain the drain and over flow hardware and they got back to me promptly with my answer!

Beautiful Hourglass Freestanding Tub

I am very happy with my new freestanding tub. We did a bathroom remodel and I ordered my own tub and toilet to save money. I was a bit nervous because the tub arrived but the contractors were delayed and it sat in the box in my living room for three months. I was worried that it could be scratched or have some other issue since it wasn't completely unwrapped. When we finally unwrapped it and the plumbers were ready to install the tub, we were relieved to learn that everything was in excellent shape with no issues. We had to get this particular size because it was being placed into a tight area. I am 5'5'' and it works fine for me, but may be too small for taller folks. I love the shape and receive lots of compliments on it when I show off my bathroom. I have now had this tub for a year with no problems, so I would recommend this brand.

Nice Tub - but disappointed

We really like the tub and the way it looks in our bathroom. After we got it installed and everything appeared to be ok, we noticed later that evening there was water coming out from underneath the tub. We quickly determined it was a problem with the drain. We had to take the tub out, but we quickly identified the problem. The house drain was fine. The issue was the drain in the tub was poorly installed and there was major leakage all around where the factory drain pipe should be sealed to the tub. Thankfully my contractor was able to clean the rubber seal and repair the poorly installed seal the correct way. We had to let the glue dry around the repair for 24 hours before we could re-install the tub. Be sure to check this before you install the tub. Unfortunately we lost a day in the project and it cost me an extra day of contractor pay to fix and re-install the tub. You shouldn’t have to repair a new $700 bathtub.

Gorgeous tub

This was the 3rd brand of tub & 2nd distributor we purchased that finally arrived unbroken. This tub is gorgeous & comfy...lots of room. Our install was smooth because the Empava made it possible. Our plumber hooked it up easily & we haven't had any issues.

Empava Customer Service — the Best!

The tub is the ideal size and style for our newly redone master bathroom! The Customer Service Representative was quite helpful in aiding our plumber. He knew what part the plumber needed to repair and offered installation advice. This tub and the Empava brand are both highly recommended!

Stunning, magazine photo shoot worthy

Wow, this took decades off our master bathroom. It was stunning. A little challenging lining up the plumbing, but light weight given the size and using 2x4 under it helped accomplished the task. We added a grab bar afterwards, for safety.

tub pros and cons

This tub is beautiful and because it is acrylic material is not cold to the touch. It has sleek lines and is pure white. The only flaw I found is the drain is in the middle of the tub. I'm sure it is for those who will put the faucet in the middle, too. However, when I was in the tub, the pop up drain kept draining as I reached over to the faucet. So, if you faucet is on the far end, don't get this model.

The product was as described and is beautiful. Shipping, however, was delayed without notification. We then spent multiple phone calls over 3 days trying to get a new date scheduled. When the tub was delivered only one man was there to bring the tub into the house. So I, as a 64 yo woman, felt the need to help him bring it into the house. Fortunately I was able to do so.

This tub looks nice and gives the aesthetic we were hoping for. However, my husband and son (both about 6 feet tall) have a hard time fitting in the tub and anytime they move around, it causes the drain pop up. It’s a quick and easy fix/adjustment, but might be annoying to some. Full disclosure: we are not big bath people and installed this tub for resale value. It is perfect for that purpose!

Well built, just the right size, easily leveled.

We bought a home that only had large walk-in showers. Switching our 3 year old over to showers was not something we wanted to do :) The Empava freestanding tub to the rescue! The tub was a perfect fit due to the accurate measurements here on the site. Drain and stopper work perfect, tub wipes down and cleans easily. Was quick and easy to level with the adjustable feet. Three months in, we're very pleased.

In fact, Empava called prior, upon and post delivery to check on status. Not many companies do this so we’ve been impressed. We’ve had the tub for about 5 months and we love it. After a long day, nothing like soaking in the tub.

Sleek, beautiful double slipper tub

Light weight and easy to install. Wanted the center drain and the length was perfect. The reasonable price was unexpected with such impressive styling. The six leveling feet should work well for most bathrooms. The end result is very impressive and it adds value and pleasure to this renovation.

We removed the 80’s corner jetted tub and replaced with this - super high quality and looks beautiful. Goes through a normal doorway for installation (don’t forget that when shopping, unless you’re doing new build with no walls or doors yet). Love the fact it’s US co and US made. Very impressed!
