Came out very good. Instructions need to be read a few times to fully understand what they want. You definitely need at least 2 people. It took us about 4 hours to install. Everybody loves it.

[Rewarded Review] A Touch Of Class

The directions were a little complicated because it listed directions for a 72" door that should have been separate. It turned out much better than I expected. I was converting from a one piece insert to a tiled alcove and the door is a perfect match.

Nice heavy door

Takes a bit to install (if you have cuts) but overall nice door. Needs a couple of people to install since it is heavy but honestly nice. I feel like most of shower doors leak some water but this one overall isn’t too bad. Leaks a little but not too bad. Would reccomend over most doors!

[Rewarded Review] Shower Door

The glass sliding shower door was perfect for our remodel. The door was just what we anticipated and looks fantastic when installed. This was exactly the look and functionality we wanted.

[Rewarded Review] My 8th DreamLine Enigma

If you can place the fixed panel at the shower end of the enclosure, you don't need the gaskets that go between the two panels. There is a learning curve to installing, be certain to place the fixed panel in the shower with the correct orientation before you hang the operating panel.

Love the door but gasket coming loose

Our shower door was installed by a professional contractor on September 20, 2017. We are very happy with the look of the door in our newly remodeled master bathroom. Yesterday, however, I noticed that the clear gasket that encases the edge of the moving shower door is coming away from the glass several inches from the bottom of the door. Help! What to do?

They look amazing, and make the shower look so good. But I don't give em 3 starts, cause water leaks from the sides and the bottom rail where the door opens and closes. The guys that installed this, said it was the best they could do, which really sucks having to clean up a puddle of water after each shower. Like I said they look good, but not really that functional.

Great Heavy Duty Shower Door

First i must say this is not your basic DIY skill level. I left this part of the work to a moderately skill person with correct tools.

Well Made Door, Confusing Installation Instruction

No question, this is a quality door. The Installation Instructions are difficult to follow, switching frequently from Model to Model without page breaks, parts not illustrated on the page where the text description appears, and confusing instructions that don't apply to all models. I helped an installer read the instructions when he had difficulty and estimate we spent extra 2 to 3 hours searching the descriptions. Would recommend door but plan to spend extra on the labor for installation.

Nice door

We bought this glass shower door to make our tiny bathroom feel larger. The shower is at the opposite end of the entrance and a shower curtain would have made it appear smaller. It does the trick! If you are handy you can install it with the help of another person. My wife helped me and I only needed her help for 1/2 hour and we only yelled at each other one time in the process. I read the instructions many times and went really slow. Having the right tools helps with carbide bit drill bits and an angle grinder ready to go helps. There was even a small package of "spare parts", which saved me a trip to the hardware store when I stripped a screw. Overall, a well-designed, beautiful door and great packaging! Dreamline seems like a great company.

Great Product

Very well made. Attractive design. Installation instructions are very good. However, the glass panels are heavy and require two persons to install. Installation is not recommended for the average homeowner, as opening walls must be square and level. There is great attention to detail, in that caps are provided to all exposed screws, and even tread lock for the screws.

Very Good Product, Fabulous Service

We had this installed this past Summer. It is certainly beautiful. We have hard water, but have been diligent about using a squeegy and even a microfiber cloth.

We installed this unit in a bathroom remodel. It works well. One regret was that we did not utilize the full width due to construction constraints -- thus the step through opening is a tad narrower than I would have liked. The product is well designed and constructed. There is a scuff of some sort on one of the glass panels I haven't figured out yet how to remove, but otherwise we are well satisfied.

This is probably the most beautiful part of my entire master bath renovation. I went with a door-less, large shower at first for the "modern" look. Aside from being freezing in the shower, it didn't look "complete" without a door. However, I didn't want a standard framed door -- they just don't loo right in a high-end bathroom. This door was perfect -- it's sleek, heavy, slides well and looks amazing. Just make sure your walls are square and plumb -- there's no wiggle room with this door if your walls are crooked.

I searched high and low for a glass shower door that would match the quality of everything else we're putting into our new bathroom. We decided to purchase the Dreamline based on reviews and imagery that they provided (where you can see the high quality hardware). The quality of the door is as high as I have seen. All hardware is of amazing quality and the door glides like a charm. It is a pleasure to open and close it each time. The installation took my father and me roughly 3 hours and required some expensive diamond drill bits, but overall was not overly difficult if you take your time and follow the instructions. Make sure that your walls and threshold are level beforehand (though poor leveling would not beed good for any glass shower door). The one critique I have of the product is the plastic "flashing" material that you put on the edges of the glass at the end to keep water from passing in between the doors or at the end of the sliding door. Everything up to that point is so high quality and it seems that this part could have been better executed. We ended up removing 2 of the 3 pieces of flashing as the design of the shower doesn't create too much splashing. With only one plastic strip, you really don't even notice. This drawback was however, not enough for me to downgrade to 4 stars. I would highly recommend this to others.

There are both pros and cons to getting these doors. First the cons. I've owned car engines that weren't this precisely engineered. Your walls must be exactly parallel, and floors completely level, or this will never work. This thing weighs a ton, was a total b#$%h to install, and absolutely takes two people to accomplish. Be sure to set the heavy metal stoppers in the right place, or you'll be taking it apart again to reposition. Not something you're gonna wanna do. Trust me on that. Now the pros. Once these doors are installed, you're gonna feel like a million bucks every time you step into the shower. Heck, you're gonna feel like a million bucks every time you step into the bathroom, or even pass by with the door open. It looks like something out of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The glass is so thick and heavy, and the hardware is so precisely engineered and slides as smooth as silk. I've been in 5-star hotels with shower doors that weren't as nice. It really makes the whole look of the bathroom, and even with the PIA installation, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Pricey, no doubt. But you get what you pay for.
