Great chair! Very comfortable. Wonderful construction. Easy to put together. Only negative thing I would say is this chair is not for short people.

this is by far, hands down, unquestionably the absolute worst chair ive ever had in my life. a wooden chair from the 80s is more comfortable to sit in than this. the arm rests are like sandpaper, and well.... theyre essentially rocks as well.

For the length of time we have had it it seems to be a good chair. Very solidly built. Seems very well built.

Great comfort

So far this chair has comfortable seating, is sturdy, and I feel less like it would break as I ma a heavy man, and my last chair was not rated for high weight people

Lumbar support was way offf for my back

Very solid chair, built like a tank. I was never comfo using it for 2 weeks, the lumbar support is high up, between my shoulder blades and lower back. Also, the top portion of the chair below the chair material they have put a plastic wrap, very annoying, every time you touch the chair to move it, it sounds like plastic wrap being crushed!

Very strong chair for a very big guy

At 6'5 and 520 lbs. I needed a strong chair to work in. This chair has a metal five star base that the gas cylinder sits in. The chair seat is already assembled. Just drop it on the cylinder and screw on the arms. Screwing the arms on was not as easy as you would think. I would recommend putting the arms on before dropping the chair on. Also be aware that this chair is very heavy so you may need help guiding it in. After assembly, I have used it for two full days and no signs of giving out. It feels like a strong, solid chair when you are rolling and sitting in it. The only reason I took off a star is when the back is locked it still moves a little. I do not like that part.

Strong chair, firm cushions, easy assembly

I purchased this chair for my son who recently had surgery and needed something more comfortable in height and strength. what influenced my decision was the weight limit max as chairs are made with stronger material for the limits set. The cushions will need a little time to mold to your body setting as they are sturdy and firm, maybe a little too much, but on the other hand, maybe not after wear. the height is great and back cushion is adjustable for your need. it can be raised but he likes it as it is. I did add a memory pillow for comfort until he is stronger to do for himself and adjust accordingly. I think the arms would have added comfort if cushioned. my spouse put it together in less than 15 minutes. overall, it was a good buy. I will buy another soon.

Back Killer

I paid so much for this " Hercules Series Big and Tall Office Task Chair ( with arms ) for my small budget , only to find it kills my back , the back is so straight and hard as a rock , does not even touch my back down towards the middle to bottom of my back when I sit back , only touches my shoulders ... does help my rear-end somewhat though cuts the circulation off my legs ... I needed it to go lower to the floor and it doesn't , that would help my legs anyway ...

Too High

In it’s lowest position, the seat was too high to fit under an executive desk, doesn’t make sense. Also the piece which controls the back was missing from the box.

Finally ... a comfortable chair!

I am not a tall person, but am heavier than the average and have found most office chairs with arms a tight squeeze. This chair is nice and wide, and the seat is very comfortable.

Great Chair!

Purchased as a gift for a larger person and he's been VERY happy with it! Went together easily and is very solid.

Advising Not To Purchase This Chair

I just purchased this chair hoping it would be very soft padded and comfortable . I'm an engineer and spend an intensive 10 hours or more in a chair each day at work. The padding on this chair is "very" firm and felt like a rock when I first sat in it . If you're looking for a soft comfortable chair to sit in all day long, sorry this is not the one you want.

This is a sturdy chair...comfortable except that the back doesn't sit straight up...kinda tilts back so I just ordered a pad to put on the back so I will have more back support

wait & see

Very padded and comfortable but the plastic handle that turns the adjustment bolt for the back cushion broke the first time it was adjusted. Good heavy chair with some cheap plastic parts, unfortunately. We'll see how it holds up. I purchased it as a gift for a school teacher to use.

Easy Office Chair

I have had a large amount of experience putting together office chairs. This chair is, by far, the easiest that I have ever done. The casters are pre-installed and the bolt on arms fit perfectly. The quality overall is quite high. This chair rolls with ease and is quite comfortable.
