Leaves a bit to be desired.
The build is adequate, but the "wobble" part of the chair is just an air cushion inside of a sewn on zipper pouch. I expected more of a cushioned wobble board that would tilt in all directions. The cushion would be ok, but mine does not hold air. The pin fits loosely into the cushion allowing air to escape, especially with the pressure of sitting on it. When flat, it does not serve the wobble purpose and the bumps on it are very uncomfortable. It would also be nice if the chair had at least two locking wheels since it can tend to roll out from under you when sitting down or when in a wobble motion.
it's pretty comfortable. Needed something for a small space this worked great.
Wonderful Wobble Stool ....
The wobble stool that I ordered from Staples arrived a few days ago. I ordered the stool for my wife to use when she works on her various crafts, and diverse projects, at her work bench which is located in an area of our garage. She has used the stool on several occasions since it arrived. She really likes her new stool especially since it has wheels that make it extremely more mobile than the conventional 'fixed' stool that she had been using. All in all, we are most pleased with the product, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Comfortable, feels good for back, posture, but wheels "sticky" UPDATE ON WHEELS
I've had this stool for only a couple of days, so I may update this review after more use. Initial POSITIVE impressions:
Awesome!
I have a neuro-muscular disaster that flares up from time to time in my left hip area. Sitting in one position is simply terrible for me. I actually like exercise balls, but they're too big and fairly annoying in my small home office. This is great, takes up less space than a typical office chair. It's not quite as soft as an exercise ball, but low impact enough, and the adjustable height is a great feature. I'm 6'2'', this can adjust beyond too tall and short for me. Not easy to find chairs like this for tall people. Well made and not overpriced imo. I'm super naughty and against manufacturer's wishes, inflated the pad slightly. A little fine tuning and you can get it reasonably flat without bottoming out. If you look upon standard chairs with dread, this is worth checking out.
great for balance
This came in fast and was easy to put together. Helps with posture and is a great value! Switched from balance ball chair to this.
What the Chiropractor Ordered
My chiropractor has had me stretching out my lower back on a similar stool since I started seeing him, and I always wanted one. He told me his cost more than $400. That is ridiculous. Rather than a ball joint under the seat, this uses a blow up cushion that you leave a little under full. I love it, especially the adjustable height my chiropractor's office didn't use. It does lead to getting the boys a little warm, but I just switch between this and the big fluffy office chair I had been using. I've rarely had a purchase I've loved so much. If you need a better chair so that your back feels better at the end of the day, get this. I also now use it to kick up my legs when I recline in my big chair instead of my desk. The only thing that could make it better is if the seat breathed a little better.
Work your Waist whilst Sitting
There was absolutely nothing wrong with it at least from what I can see so a definite price win for me! After sitting on it for awhile it is uncomfortable on the tush but aside from that discomfort it is a fun stool. You are able to wiggle in every direction by winding your hips/waist. I have updated the wheel casters to a Rollerblade style so they are easier to roll on hard floors and thin carpets without using a plastic floor mat. Much quieter and will not scratch or scuff your hard floors.
Working at my desk is now a breeze!
I this purchased this stool because I was experiencing neck and leg pain. I couldn't adjust my computer to my eye level, and my legs were in pain because my feet were not parallel with my legs. The Wobble Stool adjusts to your desk and aligns your body parts so that you are completely comfortable. It also adjusts to your body movement and moves with you. It's so much more than I expected!
sticky wheels make it not wonderful
I was thrilled to find this product and even happier to get it, but the wheels dont roll. Not on my vinal carpet cover, not on the hardwood and most certainly not on the rug.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between an ottoman, a stool, and a pouf?
Ottomans often have storage and can serve as footrests or tables, stools are for seating and can be tucked away, and poufs are soft, versatile pieces without storage.
Can ottomans be used as coffee tables?
Yes, with a sturdy surface or tray, ottomans can double as coffee tables and offer additional seating or storage.
How can I choose the right size ottoman for my space?
Consider the scale of surrounding furniture and the room's layout. Ensure the ottoman complements the size of the sofa or chairs it's paired with.
What are some 'design cheats' for parents looking to maintain a tidy and stylish home?
Utilize baskets for toy storage in all rooms, consider temporary storage solutions like empty kitchen drawers for quick clean-ups, and use footstools with storage compartments.
What seating arrangements work well for watching TV and conversing?
An L-shaped arrangement or facing sofas with a TV or fireplace as a focal point allow for both viewing and interaction. U-shaped or H-shaped arrangements can also provide good sightlines and conversation flow.
How can I protect my furniture and rugs from spills and wear?
Invest in furniture with removable, machine-washable covers and choose rugs that hide stains. For areas prone to spills, use a transparent floor protector under the table.
How do I arrange furniture to encourage socializing?
Position seating so that people can easily make eye contact. Consider a maximum distance of 10 feet (3 meters) between seats to facilitate conversation without shouting.
How much space should I leave for walkways in my living room?
Allow 30 to 36 inches of passageway between furniture pieces for comfortable movement, and ensure that sofas do not take up more than two-thirds of the room's size.
How much space should be allowed around furniture in the living room for optimal flow?
Ensure at least 36 inches (91 cm) of clear passageway around living room furniture for easy access and movement within the room.
