When I first ordered this item, I thought it would be bulky and heavy, but my wrists and neck were killing me from having my laptop on my lap during work.

Very adjustable

I bought this to use with my Cubii under-desk elliptical thing. The Cubii has not arrived yet, but I have started using this tray to get used to it. I am teleworking during the pandemic, and I use my rocking recliner as my office chair and usually just have my keyboard on my lap and my mouse on the arm rest. That won't work if my legs are moving, so this tray will provide a stable surface for my keyboard while my legs move. The tray fits perfectly in my recliner and there is plenty of room for me in between the supporting arms. I was concerned that maybe it would be too small for me to fit under since I am by no means a small person. but it does work for my size. I like how this thing can be configured is so many ways, which makes it extremely versatile. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

Works good, very adjustable, light weight for moving between bedroom to LR. I use this strictly for reading in bed and at my recliner. The adjustments for reading are angled, while those for eating are horizontal. Too much adjusting for continuously adjusting back and forth. I thought of getting a second one for eating, but a little pillow serves me well for eating.Takes some time finding the right angles and making final adjustments. But once you've got the angles right and have gotten use to the adjustment push buttons, it becomes much easier to change and customize exact settings.

I personally like it.

I personally love it. The joints are a lil stiff so you do have to push a little hard to adjust it at first, but it loosens up with time. It does require a bit of a learning curve to get used to how to adjust it according to your liking at first. After that, you can adjust each of the joints with ease and comfortably work as you please. I can use it in a sitting position, laying position (on the bed), or a reclining position on the couch. Adjusting the joints so the laptop can sit in a natural height for me really helped me with my back because I had to slouch a lot prior to getting this. I guess the only downside would be that it's big (obviously to accommodate the laptop), so it's not exactly travel friendly. So I'd say at best this is something to keep around at home and it stays there.

My Wife Loves It!

My wife likes to read or play games on her little Kindle Fire, but she complained that it just wasn't comfortable to sit on the sofa with the device on her lap. Her neck started to hurt, or her arms got tired, or the pillow she used to prop up the Fire got too hot or was unable to hold the device properly. Anyway, I researched all types of devices before deciding on this WorkEZ Professional. She has had it for over six months now and still loves it. Both her sister-in-law and our daughter-in-law have bought ones now on her recommendation, and they both like them. The only negative thing I can think of is the sister-in-law just couldn't seem to get her's adjusted properly until I did it for her - it is a little bit complicated getting all three joints just where you need them.

Versatile and reliable

I love this thing- it's so versatile and handy. I've used it set to several different positions, & it works great. I was actually surprised by how many different settings there are. It's quite sturdy, but still very light to carry around. It's made using my laptop or iPad so much easier and more comfortable. Good item for a good price!

Top Shelf Product--You Really Get What You Paid For!

This is a product I have been thinking about...but didn't know it existed. It is excellent--sturdy, well made, and very smartly engineered. It was funny, because when I ordered it...it was Christmas time, and there was a back-order. I can see why...they pay attention to detail, and make sure each unit is designed and manufactured properly (quality workmanship). Companies that pay attention to "quality control," and will not be rushed to produce an inferior product...deserve an excellent rating!! I highly recommend this product; you will NOT be disappointed!

Totally love it!

I suffered from a herniated disk in my neck six months ago, so I know ALL about neck pain. Since then, I have been working mostly standing up. However, since shelter-in-place, I have been sitting in front of my laptop most of the day. Then I found this. I can use it standing up, sit on the couch with my laptop at eye level to work, and sit on my bed to watch TV at night. It isn't super sturdy so it's true that you can't put a lot of weight on it, but it's fine for me. I use it with my wireless keyboard underneath and it's absolutely perfect. If you are worried about your posture and don't want to hurt your neck, get this. You won't regret it.

Very good purchase

I'm happy with the desk. It does exactly what it's supposed to. I just wish they wouldn't go with these plastic parts.. I just need one position pretty much and don't want it to rattle. But hey, for the money it's great and it's super light, which is what a traveller might enjoy.

Not much in the way of instructions

Takes a bit of trial and error to figure out how to adjust this thing. The instructions are very vague as to which node is which, but once you figure it out and get it adjusted to where you want it. It's a bit of a hassle folding it up and down. Once I got it perfect, I didn't want to fold it up to put it away just to have to adjust it all over again.

Well made solution - I love it

There are times when i want to use my laptop instead of my smaller tablet. It has been difficult to use my 14" laptop while sitting on my sofa. I would rest it on the sofa arm and have to bend to use the keyboard and view the screen. This stand fits my needs perfectly. Now I can use the laptop in a comfortable position while I watch the news and other shows that have commercials.

Definitely saves from neck and back pain.

I work a lot from home and I like to sit on the couch. The Uncaged Ergonomics lap desk has been almost perfect to save me from having pain in my back and neck. The only thing that is a problem is that on the couch, the desk doesn't sit evenly. I put a small pillow under one side to make it secure. It does take a short amount of time to get the angles set just right but it's nice because you can set it up however you like it.

Perfect for working from home

I bought this because we are working from home now, and our necks were getting kinked from sitting on the couch holding a laptop. Plus, the laptop can get hot on the legs.

Had to buy second. First broke quickly.

Liked it enough to buy a second one because the first one broke 60 days after purchasing. It works great but the legs are plastic not aluminum and break easy if not careful. It's not easy to adjust but it does adjust.

Awesome

This is an incredible device. I had back surgery and was bed ridden for weeks this thing changed my life. easily adjust to go over your lap or stand it up on the table and stand to use your laptop. Awesome for paying bills and things like that. very sturdy very lightweight very impressed.

Exactly what I was hoping for

Perfect. exactly what I needed. exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered. I've got a weird uneven couch that you can adjust it for. And the dog's sleeping on my lap underneath it as with the book on it as I speak and I'm taking notes no problem. Good product. and I never write reviews but I ordered this thing with a lot of skepticism and am pleasantly surprised
