Worried this may be a scam

It's been over a week since placing my order and I still have not received any shipping update. After calling and being assured they would ship soon, it still says 'order received' as the most recent update. I clearly won't be getting these in time for when I need them but I'm concerned at this point this.company may not be legitimate after so little communication. Also, why do you not send order confirmations? I'd happily delete this review if this is able to be quickly resolved.

Cheap chairs

While the base may have held 1000 lbs., the arms certainly would not. They collapsed under minimum pressure trying to lift out of them. The whole purpose of my purchase was to make it easier for my elderly parent to be able to raise out of the chair after eating at the lunch table. Returned them as defective. Still waiting for Staples to acknowledge the return and give me credit!
