Disappointed

The entire process was unpleasant from the seller to the delivery to the delivery service and to the product. I try not to fault the seller too much; after all they responded within the required time and seemed friendly enough the one time we actually communicated but overall, the communication just wasn’t there. I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because they were fairly prompt and refunded me without any problems. As for FedEx, they get ⭐️. In tracking the delivery progress it showed boxes were out for delivery but then returned to the warehouse without any explanation. And sat there for days. At the time we had the possibility of a Tropical Storm becoming a hurricane (beryl) but that was many days away. After contacting Walmart they contacted seller to tell them to contact me but I did not wait and contacted them. This is when the communications issue began. After Walmart and I contacted seller, the boxes went out for a second attempt. This time boxes made it but fedex left at bottom of stairwell. I live on 3rd floor of an apartment complex. And in part of building where they could easily walk off. (This is not first time FedEx has done this too) At this time the storm turned into a cat 1 so there was lots of rain coming. I had no choice but to bring them up myself. Yes I’d called Walmart again because I was furious with FedEx doing that but nothing was resolved with the seller whose responsibility it was to communicate with FedEx to make it right. I didn’t open the boxes until after the storm in which we lost power for 3 days. First box I opened was one with a lot of outside damage on one side but usually items are packed decently. Everything seemed ok. I took out the back rest and noticed right away there were dimples all throughout the white pleather. Back in the box it went. I opened the 2nd box with no outside damage. Much better packed than first box. But as I pulled the backrest out of box there was a pronounced chip on the wood (mfd) on lower back side of chair. Back in the box it went too. And back to the seller both went. Reached out to the seller after several days because even though I had the FedEx return receipts I wasn’t given any updates or an email detailing the packages arrived back to seller. I reached out to seller requesting they send me receipt of return by dropping me an email of such. Never heard from them until I’d received my refund. I eventually received emails of the returns received and refunds issued. I am grateful that the seller took pride in handling the refund promptly despite the lack of communications.

The Belleze Avalon shell chair is an affordable replica of the iconic Hans Wegner design. Despite its robust and imposing structural design, it is very comfortable, which makes this beautiful chair a great addition to any space. My only issue with the product is the limited color options.

They arrived on time. Are beautiful and very comfortable.

Took a bit of a balancing act to assemble the chair (between the seat, back, and legs), but looks great once tightened up and in place. Nice, clean lines, and the wood grain/color matches the other pieces in our living room. The angle sort of forces you to sit up straight, which is a bonus. Will see if it stands the test of time.

A mild bit tricky to assemble since I did it by myself, BUT! it's fabulous! It fits my space beautifully, it's seriously comfortable, and my designer friend who was just here guessed it to be twice what I paid. I'm always hesitant to order furniture unseen online, but this was an easy transaction.

I have been in the middle of refurnishing my living space. I initially placed an order for the chair on April 28, but within ten minutes of placing my order I decided I was going to go with another option. It was already after their customer service hours, so I couldn't cancel through the live chat; instead, I used the contact form on the customer service page to submit my order cancellation.The next day, instead of hearing back from any customer service representatives, I got an email notifying me that my order had been shipped, much to my dismay. This time, I used the live chat feature to message customer service, only to not hear back with any sort of live immediacy--my conversation would be continued by different customer service reps over the course of several days, through my email. I would not hear back from any reps until odd hours of the day, many hours later than the normal business hours I tried to communicate during.The customer service reps told me they were sorry but that they never received my order cancellation. It's pretty disappointing that I canceled my order, through their contact us form, very immediately after I placed it--what seemed to me to be a very straightforward way of doing it--only for Belleze to deny ever having received my cancellation.The reps told me that I could refuse the shipment upon delivery, so that it could be returned to their warehouse without the hassle of me having to go through returns process--I thought, OK, I guess I can do that. As I mentioned earlier, I am in the middle of refurnishing, so I was regularly receiving large boxes delivered to my apartment unit door.On the day of delivery for this chair, instead of being delivered to my unit door, the box was left in the front lobby and marked as delivered, which prevented me from refusing the package since I never got to meet with the delivery courier, and on top of that, the box could have easily been taken by anyone else. I was frustrated and messaged the customer service reps again, saying that I did not even have the chance to refuse delivery, and all they could respond to me with was a partial refund of twenty dollars, or that I go through the hassle of buying postage and shipping the box back.This entire hassle could have been avoided with better and more diligent customer service, and I will not be recommending Belleze in the future.

We love our new chairs! Sleek and modern yet extremely comfortable. The chair is very stable, solid and supports the body.

Chair is well made and sturdy and directions are clear for anyone actually paying attention to them. I’ve waited to get this and so happy I finally got one. Will be getting another when I move to a bigger space.

The Avalon Lounge Chair, purchased for seated meditation, is also used as a livingroom accent chair. It arrived quickly and well packed. All pieces unboxed in pristine condition. The directions for assembly were clear and easy to follow. I am favorably impressed with the sturdiness and craftsmanship of this chair. Compared to similar midcentury shell chairs sold by other companies, this Belleze Avalon Lounge chair is a great deal.

LOVE this chair. Be sure to get the BELLEZE version of this chair as I originally bought a similar looking chair for a little less from another supplier and it showed up damaged and was much lower quality. The wood on the BELLEZE version looks and feels better than I was expecting.

Great Accent Mid Century Chair

Love this chair . Be warn, if you are looking for a stop cushion- its not. Its ok to sit on it as assemble, but its better with a pillow on the back. When I added the pillow to the back, it became more comfortable. It was easy to assemble. The only problem I had was tightening the 2 screws on the top of the back, because they are inside the loop. Also you have to tighten those screws with the shorter arm of the provided tool .

Just as described. This is possibly the most comfortable chair I ve ever come across. It s not for falling asleep in, and that s exactly what I wanted - no visitors falling asleep in the living room! Super comfy to relax for awhile and catch up on your favorite show, do some work on your laptop, or have great conversations. I recommend as a great mid century accent chair!
