Cheap plastic doors .....could of been made with same type of wood as the stand or thicker better quality material then the cheap plastic.

Overall good value for the money

Solid and sturdy tv stand. The only thing I don't like about it is the doors are plastic. But that's minor. I was happy to get a decent tv stand for under $60.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE

The stand is very nice, just as pictured, perfect for my space. However, the real reason I am writing is Overstock's OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! My package was marked by the carrier as delivered but never received so I filed a claim. I was absolutely amazed with how Overstock got right on the claim and shipped me a new replacement unit within 2 business days! Wow. I had not bought much from Overstock in the past but the way they handled this moves them to the top of my list now. I wish I had the names of the people that helped me so I could send a more personal thank you.

Good looking

I really like this stand. It was fairly easy to build. I made one mistake and had to backtrack because I had not noticed that the middle support between bottom and middle shelf needs to be placed with the small holes at the front. This is where the magnets plug in to keep the two doors in place. But I found it before I had gone too far. The back has two holes to keep all the tv wires and cables inside and out of sight. It was a good price and looks good with my tv.

This product is definitely not worth the cost. The doors are cheaply made plastic material, very unstable. If you can find it somewhere else for a lower price I would do so. It was easy assembly but could have found a better method than using glue in the peg holes.

Very nice looking TV stand!

I love the TV stand! I would recommend this product! I made one mistake putting it together though. When you're putting the stand together, make sure you follow directions to a T. I accidentally put the middle panel with the holes for the magnets, in the back of the unit, & because I glued everything, I could not take it apart to turn it around. So the doors do not latch. We have to figure out how we can set it up so that the magnets will work to keep the doors latched. Otherwise it is very easy to put together. But we are very pleased with the stand! It really looks nice!

Frustration

It was difficult to screw and place the cabinets correctly, the cabinet doors are plastic which were cracked. I haven't placed the doors on as of today out of frustration. No more of my time will I give to the. Walmart online shopping

The doors are plastic not wood.

Easy to assemble. Not too low and hieght wasnt so bad. Something you must treat with care as the material can brake easily. Looks nice but honestly the price is a bit high. Looks like something you can buy at family dollar for 35$

Decent piece

Fairly easy to put together. My only complaint is the doors are really cheap. It’s thin plastic and they kind of scrape when you open and close them. So if it’s just a piece for a room you don’t use a lot, then it’s fine.

Recommended

I purchased the espresso, but like other reviewers said, it looks black. Currently, the espresso is half price than the black and so if you want black, go with the espresso. It doesn't look brown at all. Good purchase. I am a 50 year old woman and assembled this, by myself, in 40 minutes. Admittedly, I hurried through it. Directions aren't that great and there is a lot of trying to figure it out on my own, but easily done. Don't be put off by all the screws and hardware. Online description says it is a two person job to assemble the unit. I would only agree with this on the step where you nail in the particle board to the back of the unit. You really do need one person to hold it in place while the other puts two nails in place and then it can continue to be a one person job. As a result, I screwed this part up a bit and slightly damaged the unit, but you cannot see this unless one squats down, looking for my mistake. The doors are definitely plastic and definitely cheap, but not a deal breaker. You can leave them off for an open look and the unit is still presentable. I like the open look (without the doors), but I have junk that I need to store and would prefer to look at the cheap doors (they really aren't that bad) than my junk. Hard to say that I would pay $70 for it (what the black, and cherry currently cost) after I spent $35 on the espresso. Definitely recommended. I assembled this on carpet and it was easy to push it into place as it felt solid and that it wouldn't fall apart, like Ikea stuff. Seems like you breath on their furniture and it crumbles. Would repurchase if I ever needed another unit like this again. Nice looking piece of furniture. I have a 39 inch television on it now.
