Maykoosh Expresso Faux Leather Arm Chair

This Maykoosh faux leather arm chair, button tufted, arrived covered in mold. My husband washed the mold off with a damp cloth but the chair still smells like mildew. I have wiped the chair down with a mixture of vinegar and water but the odor is still there. The seat is also as hard as a rock. This is the first time I have been disappointed in a purchase from Home Depot. As of today my intention is to keep the chair because I’m old and returning it would be difficult for me. So I will try to find a product that will kill this mildew smell.

I like the chair itself but the entire thing smell like mildew so bad for weeks it made my whole house smell bad I got the couch to go with it and it didn't smell like that so maybe that's why it was on sale. Other than that I like it.

Well this chair is a great size and works perfectly in a small space. It is definitely a sitting . The chair comfort level is about 3 out of 5. My only concern would be the smell coming from underneath the seat. It seems to be coming from the material from the bottom of the chair. I have soaked a few times with Fabreze air freshener. The smell has finally disappeared.

This is hard because I love the chairs but had to keep sending back about 50% of them because of defects.

Arrived covered in mold! Was not cream but yellow. This was a scary experience when I opened the box in my home and saw the mold. How dare they use this company. I will never use Home Depot again.

Easy to assemble, nice looking chair, but very hard cushion & uncomfortable!!

These chairs exceeded my expectations! They’re comfortable and classy.

Inconsistent Coloring

I ordered two of these chairs and they showed up two different colors. It’s been a week and have yet to hear back from customer service.

2 months with only half a couch

Bought the couch on October 23, 2023. First part (the actual sectional) arrived at a good time. The second part (the rest of the couch) hadn’t arrived for about a month. I contacted the seller, they said they’d send a replacement and gave me a user and password to track the replacement on their website that I couldn’t even use for some reason. Whatever. I waited a few weeks, contacted them again. They said it should ship out on December 5th. Cool. Waited weeks. Nothing. Contacted them on December 18th, they said “this process involves a few steps. You’ll receive an update in 24-48 hours.” I never received an update. It’s after Christmas now, December 27th, 2023. I contacted them again, asking for even just a partial refund if they lost my couch forever. They sent back an email saying that they’ve sent a replacement. You’ve already said that you’ve sent a replacement though. So now it’s a replacement for the replacement??? You know how embarrassing it is having guests over with half a couch and everyone has to sit on the floor now? I bought this because I thought it was cool and unique but now I guess I’ll be $500 out with barely anything to show for it.

Chairs arrived quickly and surprised at the ease (Just screw in the legs) and quality. The only downside is the zipper running up one side of the back for no apparent reason. I’ll probably put a throw over that side to hide. For the price this was a good choice

Chairs came in promptly and were in excellent condition! The price for these chairs is incredible and the quality goes beyond the price you pay for! I would highly recommend these chairs to anyone

I liked the design but this chair is NOT WHITE, is kind of cream color, is not like the picture.
