The desk is exactly what I was looking for. Went together very easy in a approx 2.5-3 hours (by myself). Wood glue was included but I always use my own Elmer’s wood glue - that way I know it is good. I would definitely purchase again.

Nice Desk for Home Office

Nice desk for a home office. Seemed well constructed and assembly instructions were clear. It does help if you have some power tools to use during assembly as there are a lot of screws. Only reason that a 5 star rating wasn't given was that there were some slight surface scratches/defects on 2 of the pieces.

It took some time to put together, but the drawers turned out to be better than I expected. Color was very accurate. Instructions were easy to follow. Fits perfect in my space.

Easy to assemble and functioned white well. Quality is what you would expect for the price and we had this desk for quite some time before upgrading. Overall, a worthwhile purchase.

Space for everything!

This desk matched exactly what was reflected online. I am so pleased with the quality, the color, the spaciousness of the desk and all of its compartments. I use a laptop so I purchased a riser...add my desk lamp and printer on top of desk and I still have ample space! I luv, luv, luvvvvv my desk!!

Exactly what we were looking for in my high school son's bedroom. Took a couple of hours to assemble, but fairly straightforward. Solid quality desk that he will use for years to come.

Buyer be very cautious!!!

This is a review of the seller not necessarily the desk. I actually do not know if I like this desk or not. It was delivered with a hole in the side of the box and the side of the desk had a hole in it. I have tried contacting the seller to ask for a replacement piece. Now I have requested it to be returned and have gotten no response. Purchase this item and anything else from this seller with caution. I spent way too much money and have nothing to show for it. BUYER BE CAUTIOUS!!! Wal-Mart will not help either...

As advertised, but challenging to assemble

The desk looks as advertised and has a spacious L-shaped compartment for printers, scanners, external hard disks, and other computer peripheral devices. The fact that the compartment does not have front and back walls is even better if you think how easy it is to connect your devices to an outlet: all wires can go directly to the outlet. The desk is rather challenging to assemble though. Panels have numbers printed on them, and these numbers correspond to the assembly manual, but screws are put into non-marked separate containers. The manual has drawings that ironically do not correspond to how actual screws look like. It's easy to make a mistake if you aren't measuring screws and making sure they are exactly the same length as stated in the manual. Would have given it 4.5 stars because screws, but rounded to a 5. Less

Installed in a few hours, fairly easy to follow instructions, very happy with the product.

thin veneer

Beautiful looking desk. Takes time to put together but that is a given. When inspecting the veneer, it is an extremely thin layer. I don't expect it to hold up over time. Bought a desk top cover to help it stand the test of time. Fits our space and is really functional. Just wish they would use a better quality veneer.

Beaufiful desk, nice and roomy lots of storage

Great desk, build instructions poor

The desk itself is very well built. The only reason a 5 start was not given is that the instructions and components to build were not all labelled. Some boards were labelled with the corresponding number and others were not. All of the screws and bolts were unlabeled as well causing extra time in building the desk.

Assembly pain

The instructions are crappy the desk itself is good. It took a long time to assemble lots of pieces. The instructions were not always clear and labelled poorly.

It took 2 of us a while to put together but it wasn't difficult. Very nice end product. Really nice that it's easily put together with the shelving on either side.

Attractive, functional desk for the right price

I love my new desk! Lots of spots for storage and surfaces for writing. Open shelves underneath are deep enough to hold large, attractive storage baskets to hide stuff I don't want to see. Easy for one person to put together but a second person is needed to help turn it over. Delivery was faster than expected. It came days earlier than the delivery date I was given. Only drawback: You have to decide which size files you want to put in the file drawer while you're building the desk. Once you decide your stuck with that for good.
