These were not easy to put together and the lock broke the 3rd time it was used.

This was fairly easy to put together and looks great in my living room. Plenty of room for my movies.

Prepac DVD / Blu-ray / VHS Storage Cabinet

Great Cabinet - easy to build - just follow directions :) Since is the 2nd cabinet I have purchased.There were missing parts but I contacted Prepac and they immediately took care of the issue and I have the parts in a week. Very, very helpful customer service.

Damaged

Broken shelf pieces, foam stuck to sections and won’t come off without leaving ugly marks, scratches on the shelf, chipped areas exposing the pressed light colored wood, base is even marked up on the front corner.

Very nice piece of furniture. Holds a lot of cost. A bit difficult to assemble.

Not worth the money DVD storage

The picture is in the ad is deceiving. You can't place dvds on top shelf due to the lock placement, You have to put your hand inside to engage the closing mechanisms. To send it back, you must pay * for return shipping. Then they may only return *% back to you. It falls over very easy unless you attach it to your wall (I have brick wall which I wont attached)

There were not enough screws for one of the doors. I am still missing those two. I tried the email that was given in the instructions for any missing parts. That email did not work and came back as emaildemon. I will try call the toll free number and hopefully will get better results; otherwise I am sending this item back.Jeannine Walters

Save yourself the trouble and pass on this one!

This is the worst cabinet I ever tried to assemble! I’ve built numerous cabinets, desks, and other pieces of furniture with no issues. But I had trouble with this media cabinet starting with Step 2. The instructions say to put the cams in the 3 supporting side panels. Then a blue rapid rod into the holes of each supporting panel. Then insert the panel with rapid rods in place into the base piece…in the predrilled holes. The rapid rod diameter is much larger than the holes in the base. Typically you put the rods in the base first, then push the panels on to that and tighten the cams. I tried it first per instructions, and there was no way those rods would squeeze into the holes. Then I tried just putting the rods into the base first. No matter how hard I pushed, they were not going in. I took a hammer and lightly tried to tap them in. The blue plastic on the rods cracked! At this point, I gave up, put all the parts in the box and returned it. Besides the installation issues, there were nicks and dings in some of the pieces. I was just going to touch them up with the pen that was provided, but obviously not needed now! It would be better if the cabinet was already assembled. I am so disappointed because this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Less

Way too hard to put together

The unit looks great in the ad but being 77 years old I can't put it together. My husband has dementia and can't either. Don't know what to do, now we have a product we can't use

Nice looking and convenient storage in a small space for organizing multi media

Easy assembly, predrilled holes, nice looking for laminated piece. Just what we were looking for media storage after giving our son our other cabinet we used for 30 years or more. Expect this cabinet to last as long. Only problem. Before attaching doors, line up doors with door handle holes in the center per the picture to identify right and left side. There are predrilled holes for both ways so easy to confuse. If installed on the wrong side, you end up with an unfinished edge and the latch not working well. To correct switch door sides, easy fix.

This unit was even nicer than I thought it would be. Lots of storage space for my dvds and cds.

Horrid Latching

Had I the benefit of seeing this product in store, I never would have purchased it. The only way to keep the right-hand door closed is by locking it. The only way to keep the left-hand door closed is by reaching through the opened right hand door and latching it within the cabinet.I regret purchasing this cabinet.

It's a great product, we've had ours for about 6 months now and it's holding up good for our needs. I'll potentially be adding another to our collection as it doesn't hold all our Blu-Rays. The only thing I would change is I'd add another key lock on both doors as the locking pin is in a bad location on the known keylock door.

Crazy for CD's!

Very nice piece of furniture, so much so that I just ordered another! Can be used for either DVD's or CD's. Both fit nicely in the cabinet

Look great but challenge to install

i bought three of this products. They look great after installing. But the instruction of installation is not very easy to follow. It took us a while to make it correctly.
