When assembled, these chairs are attractive and I like them. However, if I had known about the strong odor of formaldehyde on the seat fabric that required several days of airing, I may not have ordered them. Only 3 screws secure the seats and I don't know how long they will hold. The back insert design is pretty, but the edges of the design are not smooth. They are simply stained and rough.

Bought these chairs to go with a glass top table that has black modern looking base. The chairs came well packaged and were easy to assemble. These chairs are lightweight but seem to be sturdy and stable. I personally would have preferred a heavier chair but the price, shipping and packaging make it a deal.
The chairs are beautiful; however, there are so many small imperfections (dents, uneven chair legs, chips, rough finishes) that I am very disappointed in them. This was my first time to order from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It will also be my last.

Basic low end chairs
Basic chairs. They look nice from a distance. Ornate back section not sanded smooth on the edges very rough. One of the braces had to be re-drilled by me because there were no screw holes lol. Hard to put together using an Allen wrench with inset screw holes not fun. Should be on clearance for $29.99 for a set of 2 chairs.

Beautiful chairs with well crafted construction. Just be prepared to take 45 minutes to assemble each as the Allen wrench to tighten the 6 bolts will only make a 1/2 Revolution turn. Not didficult, just time consuming. These chairs were worth the time to assemble and look perfect with my glass dining table.
I love the chairs and gave it four stars because we had to drill extra holes in order to attach the seat cushions. Also we tried putting it together first with the tool that came with it and ended up doing it faster with a drill.

Poorly Crafted
Chairs are made with very sturdy wood. The lattice work is unfinished underneath all areas - wood not sanded or stained, splinters abound; not enough seat padding; feet bottoms should have had some kind of glide or pads - very rough on floor - do not slide or you will scratch floor. Definitely not a quality product or a product the manufacturer takes pride in. Mass produced junk.

These are okay for the price. The wood inset is very rough. These were time consuming to assemble and are not as sturdy as they should be. I would not recommend these chairs.
