Bench fits perfectly in the area that I needed but am slightly disappointed in the finish on the top. It is dull in comparison to the bottom shelf. Almost like the wood dried out. Will try to see if Murphy Soap helps fix this.

Beautiful

This is a steal. Very well packaged, all parts in perfect condition. My husband put it together in 5 minutes. Color is very rich dark brown. Style matches my very expensive Amish made end tables. Love it!

Favorite piece of all

We have a small living room. I was having difficulty finding a coffee table that wouldn't take over too much space. I did a search for "bench" and this caught my eye. It is absolutely perfect! It looks high quality and was very affordable. No dings, scratches and all we had to do was to screw the legs on. It has a rich espresso finish. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone. This was one of a set of three pieces by Alaterre that we purchased.

Very Impressive Quality and Beautiful Piece

After spending $500 on a coffee/end table combo where the quality was so/so (from a competitor) my expectations weren't that high when I ordered this bench. I was shocked to see what a quality piece this bench truly is - it's very nice. I had one tiny glitch with one of the legs where the screw hole wasn't drilled properly making it difficult to have the bottom shelf fit snuggly against the leg.
