Travertine cracked

We bought this vanity several years ago for a bathroom remodel and we really liked the look and practicality of the piece. However, the travertine top now has a major crack in front of one of the sinks and a smaller crack at the back of the same sink. Another note for potential buyers. The vanity comes in one piece with the top cemented on. It is extremely heavy. We removed all the drawers and doors and it still took 3 people to move it up a flight of stairs.

Sink cracked!

We have owned this vanity for nearly five years and two weeks ago noticed what looked like a small chip in one of the sink bowls. Then we realized it was actually a long (several inches) crack... inspected the underside and there is a HOLE about 1/2" long. We are careful and did not drop anything in the sink or otherwise do anything that would have caused the sink to break. Silkroad says they can't send us a new sink - sorry - just buy a replacement that matches the other sink that (so far) is intact on the other side. NOT happy with Silkroad!!

I ordered this for my 1895 Victorian house renovation, resto-mod project and it was the first dropped-shipped item that I ordered. Ever. The shipping service was great and so was the product. Love all of the drawers and storage spaces. Great value for the money paid. Would definitely consider ordering from this vendor again.

I’ve had this vanity for at least a few years now and it’s cracked by the faucet. I guess I’m not sure if it needs sealed or some maintenance, but I’m assuming it cracked because of excess water from brushing teeth, washing face, etc. just wish I would have known and I’d have been sure to keep it super dry! That’s the only place it’s cracked. Other than that, I love the look of it!

I like the looks of this vanity in my master bathroom. The only negative is that the dark finish shows every little scratch, several of which were made by the installers. Please remember to tell the installers to be VERY careful with their tools!!

Purchased this over a year ago for a new bathroom & bedroom addition. I was very nervous about purchasing it online and not seeing it in person The delivery was as expected the driver kept in touch so to insure we were home when delivered. A year later and it still looks great! My contractor did have to make some alterations to the back to get the pipes to fit, but very pleased with the purchase.

Gorgeous cabinet

Very substantial piece of furniture. Perfect for our remodel. Even our contractor is going to start using overstock. We got this piece within 5 days!

Great vanity

This is our second purchase of a silk road vanity, our first was the 40" of this same model. Lots of storage, great height and the travertine seemed like it had a better sealer than our first one. I did take the extra step and made sure to put a good quality sealer on it this time since our old travertine ended up having a couple water marks that never came out. Drawers are not full extension, but come pretty close. They can be a little sticky, but come free with use. Can't wait to start using it.

This vanity is absolutely beautiful. You can't beat the price either. It looks amazing in my new bathroom.

Color doesn't match the picture

I would not recommend this vanity at all. The color does not match the picture. Silkroad Exclusives will tell you it is because your monitor is not displaying the color properly. What a joke! I bought 2 different vanities in the same color and they don't match. Customer service is horrible with Silkroad Exclusives. I also think that the drawer guides are junk. The top is also very thin and looks like a reject. Do not buy!!!

Truly Impressed

I did a lot of research and deliberating before finally choosing this item. I'm very happy with my purchase. This vanity is a very high quality piece of furniture, made of solid hardwood and a thick sturdy, yet beautiful travertine top. When the package arrived I was at home waiting for it, since the delivery service called the day before and gave me a time frame. Some other reviews indicated that white glove service came with the delivery, however mine was only front door service and the driver indicated that I was lucky that he brought it inside as with these items they usually just drop them in the drive way. It was pouring rain that day, and I was the only one home, so I was lucky he brought it in, this item with it's substantial packaging weighs about 430lbs and I would not have been able to get it up the steps by myself.

We just recieved this vanity and for the price, I had no idea how well built and beautiful this piece would be. We renovated our 2nd bath and was looking for a base cabinet (or 2 put together) and would find a solid surface countertop from a remnant slab to keep our costs down. It turned out that the cabinets would be anywhere from $500-$1000 for a decent cabinet and anywhere from $800-$1200 for the countertop.
