Wobbly

I have several of these bookcases, in different sizes, and love the color, size, style, and ease of assembly. But this last one is the wobbliest bookcase I’ve ever seen. The screws are as tight as can be, but the stability rails are barely doing their job. So now I have a leaning bookcase in my living room, and when I take one book out the whole thing shifts from side to side. Bummer.

I bought this shelf for shoes storage and it looks good. You can keep at least 20-30 shoes. It takes a little space but if you put an art or something on the top of the well, it looks perfect.

I have a similar shelf. Same brand. I love it!! It's beautiful but sturdy and simple. You fold it to move it. So it moves easily. Great quality and REAL wood! I've had mine for years. It wasn't that expensive, a little over $100. Dust it off and you have a home staple that'll last for years.

Nice shelf, stupid sticker

The shelf itself is great - the only reason it loses stars is the huge white sticker posted on the underneath of the top shelf that is impossible to get off without damaging the wood

A Sturdy Value

I use these shelves to house part of my book collection. They are quite sturdy, partly because they do not span a great width. I fasten them to wall studs with cabinet screws and have four-abreast against one wall of my library. I consider them an excellent value for the money, and they are reasonably easy to assemble. Do not expect beautiful furniture. Have modest expectations and the bookcases will no doubt make you happy.
