Well, I ordered this for my uncle moving into a senior assistant living. We opened the boxes after we read the discriminations. And to our surprise the head and base boards are white, the drawers and side rails are espresso ( which is what we ordered) I call overstock and they are sending out new head and foot boards. So we continued to build the drawers, which screws did not match up exactly, but we made it work. Then we attacked it all together to see how it would work, but to our surprise, the side rails do not fit into the hooks!! Now the fit the bottom hooks just not the top. Problem is the drawers will not fit!!!! So I am waiting for the espresso twin x- long bed head and foot board and see if it fits like it is supposed to. If not we will get some power tools involved and make it work. And have learned my lesson… no more overstock .

I love the looks and sturdiness of these beds! They had a very strong smell which is why I’m giving it a 4 but other than that I love them. Only a mattress is required, no box spring because it sits high enough.

Its so pretty! Easy to assemble, took about 2 hrs. A solid piece of furniture.
