OK but You get what you pay for.

Shipping was quick but horrible. Items showed up and the boxes were so dusty and dirty you couldn’t stand to handle them. Upon unpacking the stools I had missing hardware, scratches and scuffs all over them, and overall poor to fair construction.

I got these chairs for my kitchen bar and they fit perfectly. The delivery was late but the customer service team made up for it. When the chairs finally came, one of them had some minor damage from shipping, but it wasn't worth returning.

Absolutely Not

I ordered and received 4 of these chairs in destroyed boxes from fedex. Once I opened the boxes I noticed every single seat is damaged to some capacity due to the fact they were not secured in the box, nor were they wrapped for shipping. Just thrown in. I called customer service immediately/ he was very friendly which I appreciated but unfortunately I was only provided two options. Either return the chairs and order new ones (these aren’t sold in stores so I’m risking another damaged box) or keep the chairs and they will provide a small 5% discount. As you can see the chairs are fairly damaged for being “new” if I had bought them used it would have been ok - but to receive new chairs in this condition is unacceptable from Lowe’s. I agreed to keeping the chairs because these chairs were already 5 days late to their original arrival date and I didn’t not want the headache of receiving another set of damaged chairs. Then I reviewed my “discount” for this order - each chair was 98.54, bringing my order to over $300. The discount that was provided for these damaged chairs $4.93, they only provided the discount for ONE chair instead of ALL FOUR.

Great stools

I bought 6 of these, and I am very happy with them. They were easy to assemble. They are very stable and look good. They are really comfortable. I have a high bar (43.5” tall), and these are the perfect height.

These barstools are definitely worth it! We have only had them a couple of weeks but they look good, they are comfortable, they feel sturdy, AND seem like they are going to be very durable and last for years to come. A great solid barstool. We got so many compliments on them at our daughter's birthday party. My wife and I are very happy that we decided to purchase these!

This came with no instructions and not enough screws so I returned it and ordered it again. The second barstool still had no instructions and the screws they sent were far too long and would have gone completely through the wooden seat if we had assembled it (which we didn’t). Besides no assembly instructions there were no pre-drilled holes or even markings where the screws should go. I like the looks of it, but I would not recommend this barstool.

Short people's chair

Quality is good, and easy to put together but waaaay too short. Cushions are thin and flimsy so plan on an upgrade there. That these are more like beach chair height, not suitable for a rocker. These would be great for very short people.

I do not recommend purchasing anything from this company! Their return policy is terrible. They do not give shipping back or supply return label for wrong products. You have to pay more money to send back a product you do not want! Will never get my mo ey ever again & will not be recommending to anyone.

These stools are purrrrrfect. 32" for my above average island. Very sturdy. Comfortable. I do wish the seats were a little bit wider for my big butt but maybe I should make my butt fit the stool rather than wish for the stool to fit my butt. I absolutely would buy again-the price was excellent for the quality of the chair. The only problems I had would have been with ordering mistakes and not getting enough hardware to put the stools together properly so a little extra work finding extra screws on my part but no big deal.

More work needed than necessary

I have not been able to test out this chair. I've had a bad experience with this stool just opening the box. They sent 4 screws to bolt down the seat to the legs. Perfect. what they didn't do was drill the holes correctly for me to even put the screws in to bolt the seat to the legs. I now have to wait for a friend to drill new holes. Then they sent 2 of the 6 screws needed to secure the seat pad to the chair. As far as a consumer there is no way to put this chair together without extra work and getting it done elsewhere because I do not have the tools to drill a hole in metal. I'm hoping once it's actually together it's a decent chair.

Doesn't come with appropriate screws

The chair itself is fine and sturdy. However what should have been an easy assembly was not. They provided the wrong screws and there's no way to attach the seat to the base. We will now have to go out and buy the appropriate screws. Very frustrating. There were other reviews that had the same problem its crazy this hasn't been fixed yet.

I love that these swivel. They are very sturdy. The cushion is comfortable. We needed taller stools so the height is perfect. These are taller than typical bar stools. The metal frame can get scratched easily but since it’s black I can touch them up with black spray paint.

Heavy duty and easy assembly. Shipping took about two weeks. They are a good utility bar stool. The cushioned seat portion is attached with 4 screws, so it would be easy to recover if the vinyl should for some reason rip or tear. Very happy with the purchase and the price point. A good value for the money compared to what I have seen at the furniture stores.

Well, I would LIKE to leave a review on how these barstools sit, but I can't because the wooden seats arrived with no screw holes drilled in them, and I therefore cannot put them together. Never in my many decades of ordering furniture have I received a product where I have do my own drilling. (I'm not lazy; I have severe arthritis in the hands.) Even though the Q&As mention this, I believe this information should be stated, at least parenthetically, in the "assembly required" comment in the specifications. I'm giving it three stars for now, based on looks, and if I ever get the stools built, and if they are nice, I'll adjust my stars. The stools have potential, just from eyeballing them.

When I purchased these bar stools (2), I actually felt that I was settling. I didn't want to spend the high prices that many other bar stools were going for. So I figured I'd get these and just accept I couldn't afford better. I have to say that I was surprised and pleased when I got these home. They are nice looking and very sturdy. They do not look cheap. My only issue would be that the wood for the seat is not the best, but not too bad. They were easy to put together. All the hardware was there. Others have noted that there are no pre-drilled holes for the seats. True, but not really an issue. The screws go in pretty easy. Also, if you put the seat on and mark where the screw holes are with a pencil, it's a snap. All and all, very pleased with these bar stools.

We purchased two of the Black Swivel Bar Stools for our outside covered patio bar. I like the product. The stools are well designed and easy to assemble. The manufacturer furnishes a small wrench and hex head wrench to attach the chair back to the bar stool base. You have to furnish your own Philips head screw driver to attach the seat to the stool with 6 screws. I assembled both chairs with no help. The stools are pretty sturdy. I weigh 220 pounds and I feel like the stools are pretty darn stable when I sit on them. Some negatives to consider are that our chairs came with no assembly instructions or any other information from the manufacturer. There is no number to call for spare parts should you need them. I also do not believe the white glides on the stools will hold up over time. I would very much like to have a contact number for the manufacturer to try to purchase some spare glides. We were shorted one bag of parts containing 4 screws to attach the seat to the stool. They may have been lost in shipping as the packing box had considerable damage. The chairs were so well padded that neither of them suffered any shipping damage.
