Poor drawer, alignment, if not installed correctly

Although it appeared easy to put together, if the pieces didn’t the line properly, you could not open both drawers. I would not recommend this cabinet to anyone. The instructions were a little confusing as well.

Overall, the product is nice. There were multiple dings. However, I called the manufacturer as instructed and they quickly sent out a new top for the cabinet. It took considerable time to assemble.

I was skeptical of "assembly required" furniture however I was familiar with Sauder & have had success with this mfr. before. The finish is black with dark brown faux wood grain look. Almost looks black. Assembly was easy to follow & I glued joints for better stability. I am very pleased with all aspects of this purchase. It will provide lots of filing-storage without it looking like a file cabinet.
