I love everything about this table-the color, the appearance, the size, the convenience, It was easy to put together and I look forward to entertaining as many as 10 guests! Everyone should have one!

Updated12/15/20 Finally it arrived. I ordered the black and wow its really gorgeous! The delivery company is terrible. The seller shipped on promised date, but the delivery company failed to locate my package a few times. I am writing this to send you caution if you decide to buy. This extendable console is Gorgeous, but risky due to shipping logistics. They used Ceva Logistics. Ceva has a nice website, but they fail to call you to set up delivery and when you call them, they give you days and times, but do not show up. I had to get overstock involved after 2 delivery attempts with Ceva on my own. On the 3rd attempt it arrived, but 2 weeks past due. If you need this asap, I would not buy it. If you have time to wait, possibly a month or more, go for it! However, call overstock immediately and get shippers info so you can start your tracking on your own. I had a hard time getting OS to return my calls because they were busy I suppose. I was told Oversized items needed a 3-4 day call back window. So getting help took about an extra week from Overstock. So just know the table is Gorgeous, hence my upgraded 5 star review. However, the shipping will remain at a 1 star. Some screws were missing. As a single mom of 3 Med build, I was able to carry the two packages in myself from my porch and assemble it myself. Was pretty quick and easy, but sad beause missing screws. I just assembled it myself with the screws that it did come with. Those screws were for the metal extenders. There is a center metal buckle used to keep the console together while in closed position. Do not follow the predrilled holes for that. I used a drill bit and made new holes. Before you measure where to install this buckle, do it last after you have the table together. I used the predrilled holes as a guide, but when put together, but the latch and hook were tooooo far apart! So I redid it while in upright position and measured the latch and hook to where it will buckle comfortably and it worked. THe extra screws were to be able to allign the legs when in closed position, and for the table top inserts. The table tops had the screws, but only on one side. The screws weren't extremely necessary, but they were part of the instruction manual. The table functions without those screws. It could be the instruction manual was for when it was first designed and along the way they shifted the design to save money on screws? I dunno, I had to psych myself to get over it. The material is beautiful. Yes, it is cheap, but looks elegant lol. The material I would use to describe this is like those old mdf countertops back in the day, BUT the covering isn't the fake wood graines lol, it is a marble like onlay - possibly .5mm thicker, too. So an upgraded back in the day countertop with a modern edge. So, I could not directly screw in the tiny screws into this material, it bounces around, it did scratch, but was not able to screw in until I pre drilled a hole for it. I figured, if I cut directly on this it may show scratches, but will not penetrate enough to large dents.burst I will be using this as a console and will pull it out for dinner gatherings. I am able to sit 10 extra with this table. I plan to make a T shape with my current dining table to host 18-20 guests directly in my dining room. Covered both with same table cover and you can not see the table extension. Careful on the thick screws that are used to screw in the metal extension piece, they do not screw in evenly and can easily become stripped, be careful. Less

You have to be patient- almost 2 months to get it. Otherwise the table is like in the picture. Very cool for not a big apartment. We love it and it’s nice quality so far...

Amazing table.

Absolutely stunning, amazing, gorgeous. I purchased 3 for the holidays I can't sit over 18 people. When I am done with the event, I will close the table and put away in the corner. I love how I do not have a permanent dining table in the middle of the living room. I am more of a less clutter and open space person. Yes, the holes under the table do not coordinate, but it's an easy fix by creating your own holes. Not hard at all. I'm a proud buyer from overstock and feel very comfortable when purchasing expensive products.

Missing the right pieces for assembly

The table has drilled holes for the clasp and hook that fix the table when not extended, but the holes do not align with the clasp and hook received. Will have to drill the holes myself...other than that the table should look nice once I get it assembled.

I personally don’t recommend this product thinking to return.I loved the pictures that’s why proces.material quality is very poor and get scratches very easy for a matter effect it come with a Schrach.It is not practical is very heavy and it moves not stady on the feels especially if is fully open.The extended parts you have to manually put them together since they don’t have a good system in place.The manual doesn’t Mach the steps 100% we had to open other wholes since the existing ones not right overall experience not happy for spending over *****$ dolars only for the table.

This dining table turned out better than I expected. It's laminate so I feared it would look and feel cheap but it looks beautiful. It was delivered to my front door completely unharmed and was very easy to assemble. I live in an apartment and don't have room to have a large dining table full time so this is in my entry way as an entryway table and then when I have a dinner party I slide it into the kitchen area and add as many inserts as I have guests and then after they leave I slide it back. It's not overly heavy and I put pads on the bottom so I can easily slide it across the hardwood floors myself. . . Great product
