This light is bright as expected. I used the screw mounting under a shelf to light a workspace but it does come with 3 strong magnets that would easily hold it to a metal shelf. The 5000K Daylight at 1000 lumens is very white and bright and clearly illuminates the projects that I work on. It is not dimmable so set it below eye level to avoid eye strain. The light is very thin and takes very little room under the shelf and comes with a ‘linking cable’ for connecting multiple lights together. I was very happy with this light and strongly recommend it.

This a nice compact low profile LED magnetic strip lighting unit. It can be mounted magnetically or with screws. It's 40 inches long and puts out 1000 lumens at 5000k color rendering. It can be used individually or linked-in to additional units. It can be mounted under cabinets or mounted to shelving units, or just wall or ceiling mounted. This light fixture is an excellent solution to adding light in an area that you can’t drill into for installation. I installed mine under the ductwork in my utility room. It has 1000 lumens of light. This will fit into a small space that is less than 4’ long. The magnetic strip attaches easily to metal without drilling any holes. Screws and wall anchors are also included for drywall installation. Installation is very easy.
