good product with reasonable price
The collector bin is good except for light material. I needed this new one as the original one cracked where it hinges into the vacuum. The clip to hold it on the vacuum hangs up when you need to remove to empty. Other than that I really like this vacuum as it is convenient and easy to use!
Walk away! Just say no!
No sooner did this piece of garbage go out of warranty, the battery died. No warning. Just wouldn’t charge. I really wish I had read the reviews before I bought it, but was going with the Eureka name. The battery is not replaceable. This is outrageous. Very disappointed.
Great product! Solidly built!
A really great little vacuum for quick clean-ups. Works great on rugs and hard surfaces. Yes, it only runs about 10 minutes on the higher setting but if you have more than that to clean you're using the wrong tool! We have two of them. One at the condo and one at the lake cabin. We use them a lot and expect them to last a long time.
The battery stopped charging after ONE YEAR
Only used on wood floors for pet hair. It worked great until the battery would shut down after about 30 seconds. The battery costs around $65 on Amazon. Aftermarket batteries are about $45, but I don't trust the Li-on uncertified batteries since all the bad press on catching fire. Not sure if I'll go new vacuum route yet, but I will not buy another Eureka Stylus.If it was $30 for an OEM battery I'd probably buy it.
A Senior's Dream Vacuum Turned Into A Nightmare
My husband and I are in our 80s with the usual arthritis and back problems. When we bought this vacuum we thought we had gone to Heaven early. It is so light and flexible and it gets under and around furniture so easily. The suction is terrific and emptying the canister is a snap. So we bought a second one for the other side of the house. The minute it arrived the first one would only run for less than a minute and then shut off. It was fully charged but still refused to work! I feel really let down by a product bearing the Eureka name. Eureka has been the name of choice for over 50 years in our household. Such a shame!
