Only lasted a month maybe

Bought it end of September by early November the plug no longer seemed to fit in the unit and it wouldn’t hold water tonight was leaking all over and the filler hole seemed to disappear. Couldn’t even use it tonight with unusually hot Ohio weather. Looking to return it.

More like a humidifier than an air cooler. 0/5 ⭐

Does not work well at all, you're better off with a small fan. I live in southern California near La it's a dry climate and extreme heat this unit really only adds humidity to the environment, I can't see any use for it other than as a humidifier.

It works, but it made me sick.

This product did what it was supposed to, but at the expense of my health. When I first opened it up and inspected the filter there was a lot of dust/particles coming off it. The box said this was normal due to the material of the filter and to just wipe it off. Once I did that, I filled the cooler with water and placed it on my desk pointed at me about 3-4 feet away. I immediately started coughing excessively. I thought maybe it was just because it was new. I moved it, so it was not pointing at me directly. However, the next day I woke up very congested and with a cough. I was sick for almost 2 weeks after using this just once. Filter aside, it did what it was intended for. I filled the water to its max and it lasted around 6 hours at the low/medium level with the light off. It is very quiet and not at all bothersome noise-wise at these levels. However, you have to point it directly at you for you to feel any coolness. The coolness feels like a nice cool breeze vs an actual AC vent hitting you or a standard fan pointed at you. It did lower the temperature about 5 degrees at the area where it was pointed at. It did not change the overall temperature of the small room I was working at though. I liked the little handle that made it easy to transport from room to room. Aesthetic-wise, it was pretty cute and I liked the ocean blue color. Overall, I think there is something with the filter material that may irritate some people’s respiratory systems and may cause cold-like symptoms. I would not recommend to those that are sensitive. Try it out at your own risk.

Cool as a cucumber

Brilliant little bedside cooling machine! I can’t recommend this Evapolar more. My head gets hotter than Hades given the menapause, so…if you’re a women looking for some sleep during this bumpy time, get yourself this wee cracker!

Noisy

It has a very slight cooling effect but it is very noisy, especially if you want it to be on high speed. Only the lowest setting is reasonable for sound but to turn it off you have to cycle through all the fan speeds. Unlikely to purchase another unit.

High quality item

I purchased two of these coolers for my teens to keep their bunks cool in our camper. We usually dry camp and the camper can get quite hot inside, especially the bunk beds. These work perfectly for that and can be powered through the night with a power bank. I purchased a plastic tray for each that the unit sits in on their mattresses so they don't tip over. The fans are not annoying at all, it's a nice steady, gentle white noise. This is a really well made product that is worth the extra cost over the cheap ones you can find on that other big name online retailer.

I really like this little air cooler. It makes a big difference for me in terms of sleeping well at night. You want to put it at the head of the bed, it will blow cool air all night on the second speed and you will feel cooler. I'm 5'4'' tall and it blows past my feet. I don't have to refill it until the morning. My cat likes it too!

Don't hestitate, Buy This Cooler!

This little cooler sits on my desk and works wonderfully. I do have to fill it with water every day, and sometimes twice depending on what setting you use. I didn't know it had 4 settings and the highest really puts off some cool air. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs additional a/c because it's so easy to use and really does a great job!

At first I was wondering what would happen if I fell asleep as the tank capacity is only 800 ml? However, if the water is consumed, the fan continues to run. Fantastic! For greater fresness, next to the cooler I put a table fan. As I do with the coffee maker, from the beginning use filtered water to prevent the minerals contained in the water directly from the pipe from being deposited in the unit; with the difference that for the cooler I use the filtered water from the shower.

Evapolar evaCHILL

This is a lifesaver for someone who isn't used to humid hot climates. I put it by my desk during the day and move it to my bedstand in the evenings. When you fill it up and keep it on the low to medium setting, it lasts a surprisingly long time. It's pretty quiet too. It takes a little finagling to figure out how to fill it but then you'll hit a groove.

Easy to use

great ice cream,We bought the product because we have family and friends who cannot eat dairy. Our first attempt was a simple dairy free vanilla. Our DF family members enjoyed it! It does have a slight gray cast to it and gets very hard after freezing probably due to lack of fat. The Ah hah moment came when we made the first recipe in the book that came with the machine. It is so delicious and easy. If you have the ingredients and think ahead to make the mixture,you can have ice cream faster than making a trip to the corner convenience store. We are very happy with the purchase and are considering buying another insert so we can make both DF and regular at the same time. It's hard to justify since the insert is quite expensive so we might just buy another machine or learn to cope and make ahead. Highly recommended!

Loving it.

Despite the fact that it is currently 21 degrees outside,had to try the new ice cream machine. Started with the simple chocolate ice cream recipe. That was easy enough. Machine did get louder as the ice cream became thicker. But not that bad; just the last 5 or 6 minutes. After 15 minutes,had absolutely delicious and creamy soft serve ice cream; just the way we like it. I was surprised with the volume of ice cream we ended up with too. Plenty of leftover for the freezer. I used stevia and powdered milk instead of whole milk.
