Looks great, not expensive and easy to install.
I used them to cover ugly linoleum tile in my laundry room and they look great! They were not very hard to install and cut pretty easy with a straight edge. Make sure you follow the arrows and lay them out to make sure the pattern is consistent before exposing the adhesive and placing them down for good. This was a fairly inexpensive way to freshen up the room. I would buy this again.
Easy to install
Knowing we didn't want hard floors like tile or wood in our bedrooms I bought these tiles to replace old and worn carpet in one bedroom as a test run. They're incredibly easy to install and they look nice. I would recommend three things though. First is make sure that each box you buy has the same lot number to avoid shade variances. Second, lay the room out before actually sticking them down. In doing so I found one tile that had some sort of discoloration in the center of it. And third, make sure you lay them all in the same direction as whats indicated on the back of the tile. After seeing the results of the first bedroom, I do plan on doing the remaining bedrooms in carpet tile. I'll update this review in three months if any issues arise: coming loose etc.
Never got them to try
Placed an order for 14 boxes. Received an order confirmation. Received a shipping confirmation a couple days later. Was told they were in route and scheduled to deliver on Wednesday. All day Wednesday it said they were to be delivered that day. When I called around 4pm to check, they couldn’t find my order - not just the boxes. The whole freakin’ order! Apparently, between Lowe’s, the carpet company and the shipping company who were all good up to this point, I was the only one in the whole process that had a record of the order. The guy “graciously“ offered to refund my money - which means they had some kind of record of the order. He suggested that I go online and reorder the carpet tiles. Uh, no. I will never, ever order carpet from Lowe’s again the rest of my life. Over and done. Buyer beware.
Good, but inconsistent color.
Looks good overall, but color inconsistencies are quite obvious, sometimes within the same box. Since this is only in a basement that we see, it works fine.
High Quality
USA made. We've had this stuff down for over a year and it's been very durable with two kids. My son stuff sticky goo into one of the carpet squares and it was very easy to replace. At first, I thought some of the squares were slightly off on color, but I think it was the way the fiber was when it was new, because after it was laid down and we walked on it for some time they matched. This carpet would be great for a rental or if you have kids. It's not super soft, but it's not as rough as the office carpet squares and it's durable.
Mini put patio DIY
Easy to work with, decently realistic, and had the perfect texture to create a mini put course on the patio. even shaped well for incline and ridges with a bag of sand underneath for some more exciting shots.
Great tiles but color lots differ per box
I am very pleased with these they go down nicely, cut easily with a straight edge and appear to stick tightly to the ground. I cannot comment on long term wear as I just installed them. I am guessing they will wear decently. I used them in a 3 seasons sun room.
So disappointed....
This was going to be a home run install on my pool deck. Tiles were going down beautifully....until we got to the 2nd box.
Nice product, looks great in my basement. Easy to clean or replace if necessary. My only minor complaint is that it's not sticking very well to OSB subfloor and comes up a little bit when i move furniture around. Hoping this resolves after its been in contact with the floor for a longer time period.
Did the Job!!
We were looking for a cheap way to cover up some really bad hardwood floors and this did the trick! As another reviewer mentioned, the dye lots can vary from box to box and you may end up with some mismatched. We bought this color which was grayish in the store, but more blueish at the house (not that it mattered). I'd of given it 5 stars if it weren't for the dye lot issue. Other than that, it is nicer than the worn out hardwood!
Easy Installation & good product
Peel and stick tiles easy to apply. I did pebble path and didn't follow the rotation instructions, but went with what looked best pattern wise for my room. I did plan ahead and buy all I needed plus 20% more for waste/future repair. This way all the carpet came from the same lot. While it doesn't have tons of padding, my feet/joints can feel the difference between it and the cement floor.
Decent, Inexpensive, Much Darker Than Expected
Not a bad product for the price. Cuts easily and the adhesive sticks fairly well. I don't, however, think the adhesive will hold up well against moisture or heavy traffic.
I Did It Myself!
Very happy! This product was the right thickness I was looking for. Easy to clean and the baby can still zoom by in his walker without getting snagged or stuck. I had to use utility scissors that I originally bought for cutting up cardboard boxes as household scissors got stuck in the carpet tile while cutting. My knees are bad so I bellycrawled to install so it took awhile. Measuring and cutting took up most of the time but installation was a breeze. Even if I misplaced I could still take off the carpet tile and it sticks right back. My hallway was ugly bare concrete and this helped tamper down sound travel. Here are a couple of pictures that were small enough to upload. The hall is a long z-block shape about 160 sq ft so I bought 3 boxes with tiles leftover for replacements if needed. The pattern flows so well you can't tell where I use several pieces to fit odd corners. It looks like one big roll of carpet!
Chincy.
Some of the edges are a bit sparse with carpet not going quite to the edge. The self-adhesive isn't very sticky. That's fine for repositioning the tile, but it really only provides friction for the tile to not slide around. I was using these tiles on stairs, and staples were very much required. The adhesive is completely insufficient for it to stick around the nose of a stair step.
Installing the carpet tiles was pretty straightforward and no complaints....
Installing the carpet tiles was pretty straightforward and no complaints. The color of a couple tiles from the same box was noticeably lighter after the install was complete. Though not awful, I would rather have separated the two tiles to give a more random color variation. Overall, satisfied with the quality and ease of installation. We"ll see how durable they will be.
[Rewarded Review] Step runner
I must truly say that I was presently surprised by this product and the ease in which it adhered to my 100 year old wooden steps. My wife who is a tough critic of anyone's work was also impressed. I had planned to use these tile carpet in an area in the basement but after during a dry run on our staircase I became more convince that it could be pulled off. The one good thing about this product is how easy it was to cut the material to fit the contour of my steps. The only thing I used was a utility knife. In closing I would definitely purchase more of this product to finish the basement and any other project I see fit. Thanks Lowes
