Excellent Quality Italian Tile

We have a 14.5 x 15 bedroom. We ordered 21 boxes of the tobacco/espresso color. These are 24 inch tiles that come 3 to a box. It took 9 bags of Mapei large format tile morter (white) , and 1 bag of Mapei Ultracolor Plus F/A grout (Sahara Beige). We used a 1/16 grout space. These photos were taken just after completion and probably we will need to hit it one more time ligjtly with a mop to catch any remaining residue of grout. The thing that I like about these tiles is they are high quality and an absolutely beautiful product if you are looking for a tile with a wood looking finish; these are unique and not the standard boring woodplank looking tiles that are so prevalent nowadays. The wood look is perfect for a tuscan theme, french country, farmhouse, euro, and is versatile enough for most decorating themes. We have large beige sculpted wool rugs, so we wanted something that would contrast with our colors. The dark color does darken the room somewhat, but once the large wool rugs are placed it will be fine. The Gray was from the prior owners I have no idea why they painted the walls this color because everything in the house is more of a warm tone. Actually, this color tile does not look bad with the gray, but we are painting the room with Swiss Coffee for now, until I can get a faux finisher in to do an old world finish. These pictures are taken at the end of the day, so the lighting is a little poor. We hope they are helpful though in assessing whether or not this product will work for you and your family. All in all, very beautiful job. Well worth the investment!!!

The color is muted from photo and representation on the website it seems like it is more gray tone then brown.

My client loved the pattern in the tile however, the colors do not line up with the photos on line. The lightest one is much darker than the photo and the darker brown tile is very gray.

My client was ecstatic over this tile? It really does look like parquet flooring but in a good way. But it's Tile! Holds up to all the crazy that goes on in a bathroom. Beautiful installation... paired it with warm, light gray cabinets, polished nickel accessories and white subway tile.

Everyone was right! Tiny Sample :(

I ordered 4 tiles to see the pattern and physical size in my kitchen. I received 4 small rectangle tiles showing the texture and color but not the pattern. Very disappointing! How will I know how big the actual pattern will be before I buy a case!!?

Barberry Decor - Beautiful!!!!

The wooden looks of the tile seem to be more popular or a preference over the black and white looking ones, at least in the commercial industry. Our client loved the look and it was easy to pair other finishes to create some sort of contrast within the design. Very eye catching and definitely look forward to using it again in future projects.

The tile was of good quality, however the faux wood grain was a very dark brown color. The sample photos show it as a more muted tone. Just be aware if you're looking for something more greige.

This tile is not as "blond" in color as the picture but very nice color and grains. Can be installed in several different patterns. The 24" size is very convenient so less waste. Could use in separate rooms or throughout entire house except bathroom. Definitely more attractive than the over-done plank tiles and faster to install.
