This is a very nice rug at a great price. With two large dogs, we now only purchase inexpensive rugs, but if my dogs ruin this one, I will not be happy. I love the colors and the way the rug brightens up the room. While it is not a thick pile, it is soft to the touch and there is no issue when vacuuming the rug. For the price, I think it is a great value.

Colors/pattern work nicely in my space and with a thick cushy pad it's nice to step on. I'm downgrading the rating because my bare feet feel like they're walking on plastic. I think this is a polyester rug. The other rugs/carpets in my house are cotton, wool or nylon. Those feel softer.

OK rug - beware of packaging

This rug in navy/ivory will work well in my room. HOWEVER -- check the packaging before trying to open it. The rug I received was in an outer, unbranded bag and an inner Safavieh bag. The bags were fused closed, not sealed with clear packing tape as expected. Instructions- do not slit the bags lengthwise; open an end and the rug will slide out. It did not slide out and eventually I discovered that the inner bag was fused to the plastic strips that bind the rug into a cylinder for shipping.

The rug came in packaged well it got delivered on a rainy weekend. The actual item is even better than the photos. The texture, pile height and the color exceeded my expectations. The shade of the rug contrasted well with the floor and the couch. It even has fibers that shimmer depending on how light strikes it. This is a 5 star purchase and shopping experience!

Beautiful blue - it looks great for our small nook!!

The color tone is actually brighter, which we LOVE - so does our pup! :) Also - the yellow/mustard cushion and the small round table is from TARGET too, except the chairs are from Arhaus. Our nook project is officially complete!

Beautiful Home Addition Adding Great Contrast

I accidently ordered the smallest size rug but in looking at this small one it is an excellent and georgeous rug matching my decor PERFECTLY and adding great contrast as well, so I decided to use it in my kitchen area while I order the biggest size for the other end of my studio with the black futon. This rug is very soft and walking on it barefoot is nice. It is a very good quality rug and I absolutely love it. I am very satisfied and the swift delivery was amazing as always. I'm very disappointed in the carpet-it's more the quality I'd put in a sun room or on a patio/deck. It's very thin and not as I expected. I have it in my living room and since it was expensive for what it actually is, I have to stick with it. I also purchased 2 runners, one for the kitchen and the other for the entry way, and the ends don't stay down and am constantly rolling the ends over to smooth down the corners. I'm in hopes that no one ever trips over them. I wouldn't buy this carpet again.

BEWARE!!!! Please read this before you buy this rug!!

We bought this rug, and the color is awful. The color is very bright. Almost a teal and not a deep blue. The rug itself is fine but those colors are just off. It does not go with dark blue or green. . . But that is not the worst part. When we told Houzz that we didn't like it, they said we need to deal direction with the seller. So we followed instructions and took the rug to Fedex to have it shipped back via Ground shipment. The TOTAL COST TO SHIP IT WAS $276. So we are out $276 with nothing to show for it. . . But wait there's more. We mailed it and have our receipt. However, we got an email from Houzz telling us we'd better return that rug or we will be charged the full amount. It wasn't until I took the time to speak with a person (via chat) at Houzz, that we finally got confirmation that they would talk to the seller and let them know it was sent. Even with a tracking number from Fedex, still no confirmation of our refund. . . . . This was my first, and LAST purchase through Houzz.

Modern Farmhouse/Vintage Style

We love this rug! It fits in with our modern farmhouse/vintage decor for our front entryway. We have a non-slip rug pad under it & it's really comfortable under your feet but our door still easily opens without catching the rug. We bought the 8' x 10' for our dining room and the 5' x 7' for our front entryway; I only wish this came in a 2' x 3' for the bottom of the stairs. It's been very durable & easy to clean. We purchased the grey & ivory and although we vacuum regularly, it does help to camouflage dark pet fur. We've never gone wrong with Safavieh rugs.
