NOT Blackout, not even close, but Beautiful fabric

I do like the fabric. Another reviewer did not appreciate the shine, but I did and find it to look luxurious in my space. However, it was very disappointing that the reviewer was correct in stating that these are NOT blackout curtains. Disappointed because they did take longer than I had hoped for them to ship.

Falsely Advertised

These are in no way blackout curtains even though it says they are total blackout and shows the opacity meter at level 4. Just what a mom with a newborn wanted to deal with after trying to get blackout curtains for the nursery.

These curtains aren't a perfect black-out- my bedroom faces directly east so I catch very bright sun first thing in the morning. These do a pretty good job of turning that down a few notches.

Light blocking, insulating and attractive.

The curtains do block the light as stated and the fabric is quite attractive. The curtains also help insulate the window which helps with controlling the house temperature.

Great accent for this room

These pretty white on white curtains are more light dimming than room darkening, but I didn't actually need this room to be darker so will keep them. As for ordering more panels for 'correct' fullness, there just isn't enough wall space: the single panel on each side is a perfect accent. Due to the fabric being thinner, the curtains tend to flare outward at the bottom instead of hanging straight down. I remedied that with double sided removable tape, but small weights will be sewn in later. These curtains were fairly wrinkled after unpacking, so I took a chance and gave them a short cycle on hand wash in my washer, to wet them good, then did a 45 minute stint on air dry for 45 minutes. No damage done and 99.5% of the wrinkles disappeared. I would not recommend this for older washer and dryers, only for those with the two settings mentioned. P.S.-The photo was taken before I came up with the double sided tape idea, but you get the idea.

Not Blackout - Good Light Blocking though

Not blackout. This is my second attempt at buying blackout curtains in white. Seems blackout is not compatible with white fabric color. These do provide good light blocking but definitely not black out. Curtains are good quality, a bit heavy and bulky but very nice with a gray tint to the material texture and bright white color overall.

These curtains are beautiful. I love that there are two ways to hang them. They completed the room and the light blocking is just perfect.

These curtains were the perfect finishing touch to my room. I love the black out feature keeps the sun out in the morning until you open them.

High quality custom look

Nice blackout with just the right amount of weight to hang with visible pleating. So many complements asking who did your drapes definitely a custom look!

Beautiful & elegant curtains

I was hesitant to purchase these curtains as there were no reviews on it. I was so happy when I saw these curtains! They are perfect! I have an alcove studio and these curtains hide my bedroom area. They fit on a tension rod and I don't have issues opening and closing them. They do a great job blocking out the light for naps, as my apartment gets a ton of natural sunlight The texture looks rich! I haven't tried washing them yet so I don't know how they hold up in the washer. Overall, I highly recommend them

These curtains are not blackout whatsoever. They also are shiny in person. Not a fan. I will be returning them.

Excellent Value and attractive curtains!

Good curtains - they didn't block out as much light as I had hoped - but they are handsome and did look great in our family room, With winter upon us. I can absolutely feel a difference when they are shut - much warmer in the room

Nice Drapes!

These are very nice drapes. I got the white ones and they block the light very well when shut. I really like the fabric and they look very nice on the slider door.
