Got acid reflux? This is a great wedge!
If you suffer from acid reflux, this is a great wedge pillow. Really adds the right incline for a comfortable sleeping position when I need to be elevated. Also great for reading or watching TV.
Good, but not a panacea
Wedge pillows are commonly recommended by doctors to alleviate GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease). But they are not a panacea and must be used in conjunction with other practices: prescription medication (histamine-2 blocker) and not eating close to bedtime. The wedge should be used when lying on one's back to preclude bending the backbone while sleeping on one's side. This 8-inch elevation model helps.
