I would eliminate the word pillow from the title.

The wedge is good, firm. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t dissipate heat very well so it feels warm after a while. Also, I would love one a little lower, instead of 7” of height, maybe 6” or 5.5”. It great that you can wash the cover although it would be great if you sold a sheet for it. If it were as long as the bed and cool to sleep on I would definitely buy it, of course adjusting the height and making a sheet. Thanks.

Which width to choose

I actually was going to buy the bed-width size pillow but decided to buy 2 of the individual sized ones. This is better for me as sometimes my wife will prefer to lay flat, or in the morning will want to sit up against the wall and all she has to do is lift up her pillow against the wall while I still lay on mine. If we had bought the full length one we couldn't do that. As far as how I feel laying on the inclined pillow, I very much like it! I snore less and prefer to have my head/torso a bit elevated since I sometimes get vertigo and this pillow seems to help prevent it from happening as much.

Don't know yet

I got my Q XL Relax Inclined Pillow yesterday and used it last night. Not very happy. I kept sliding down. I tried one additional pillow, then two pillows, but kept sliding and waking up during the night. Also, now I realize that I have no idea where to find/ buy a pillow cover. Also, the shipping cost was too high for such a little box and not heavy at all.

For more than just acid reflux

I was able to use this after I hurt my shoulder blade in order to sleep. I could not sleep flat. It has helped me also to sleep while camping and having to sleep on a hard bed. It kept me from having back pain. It isn’t only for acid reflux. It helps my husband not snore as badly also.

Just what I Needed

I find this slant pillow ideal to help me sleep comfortably without being troubled with reflux. I have tried other pillows, but they're either too soft or too hard. Yes there are times when I slide down somewhat, but mostly I stay put. I don't exactly sleep like the person in the image with my pillow on top of the wedge, but add a couple of pillows at the head of the wedge. Great for a good night's sleep!

Love the pillows.

My husband and I really appreciate the pillows. They have enhanced our sleep for both of us.

Not for short people

The wedge is very supportive but I am only 5'2" and I keep sliding down off the pillow. If I sleep where I need to be on the pillow I get a very sore back and hip. The pillow is constructed very well and would recommend it because it does help with my acid reflux. If you are taller than I am this pillow will help you.

Wedge is great, washable cover pills after a year.

Loved this so much we bought a second one months later for my son who had jaw surgery. Extra long length is great for my tall people (6'2 and 6'3") and didn't hit too far up to make the spine bend unnaturally. Most are much shorter than this one. The cover is removable, wash gentle and air dry. The cover did pill after daily use after about a year or so. I wish there was something sturdier, like bed sheet material that was washable and didn't pill.

So I got this because I have terrible, chronic neck back pain. The reviews are right, you do slide down the wedge because the cover is like silk. Super slippery! I use deep pocket sheets so I set it up under my sheet to try that. It has decreased the amount of slide. Still trying to get used to it.

It's a quality product, worth the purchase.

This wedge is a quality product. It is firm but comfortable. You can sleep on your side or back and get a good night sleep. I use a 5 inch thick foam pillow with the wedge, I found this to be the best for me. I am very satisfied with this product. I would recommend it to everyone. I am glad that I found and bought this product.

5 Stars

This is a great item. I bought this for my father in law that has respiratory issues. It raised his head enough and comfortable enough to enhance breathing. The quality of these item is so great. The cover is soft and extremely comfortable. The cover will also come off for washing. Highly recommend

Super comfortable wedge

The Memory Foam Wedge Pillow is extremely comfortable. I like the size of the wedge. The perfect height. I sleep on my side, but often wind up on my back. Like the cover. The top is super soft and the beige bottom keeps it from slipping. I purchased the wedge because I sleep on multiple pillows. The wedge is so much better.

4 Stars

Got this on medical advice to fight acid reflux. I thought it would be weird to be sleeping on an angle, but it's actually much more comfortable than laying flat! I've had it about a month, and it's working great, not indented or overly worn. The cover is theoretically washable, but it's so difficult to get back on that I don't think I'll do it very often. Also, the cover is very ugly. It would be nice to have a stretchier or slipperier case, and one that's a solid color instead of the brown sides and white top.

Buy the version described in my review!!!

I've had acid reflux for years. In this time, I've spent nearly a thousand dollars on bed wedges that don't work. Some are better than others, but the fact remains: YOU CAN NEVER, EVER STAY CORRECTLY CENTERED ON THESE PILLOWS WITHOUT SLIPPING TO THE BOTTOM DURING THE NIGHT. It's no fault of the pillow, it's something called, GRAVITY. That's the "bad news." But after going broke buying at least nine of these pillows, here's the "good news."

Slant acid reflux memory foam pillow

I have had great sleep each night for the past two weeks thanks to my new pillow. I purchased the king size. I am most comfortable with the pillow at a slight 30 degree angle to headboard. This allows my two standard sized pillows to rest my head close to the 8 inch mark. I am so satisfied with the pillow length for additional comfort.

The pillow is exactly as pictured, and much better than the one I had before which was too short. I was worried that the foam would be too soft/mushy but it's quite firm and supportive. It's also much wider than my previous one, and now my arms fit comfortably on the pillow without falling off the sides. Some people reported an issue sliding down the pillow throughout the night, but that's easily countered by adding a pillow below your thighs to keep you at the right height. I'm quite satisfied with this purchase!

Avana Bed Wedge Pillow

This pillow really does help me sleep for longer periods of time now. My issue is not acid re-flux but excessive nasal passageway mucus that plugs up my nose at night while sleeping and wakes me up frequently during the night to have to blow my nose to open it back up.This pillow elevates my head enough to almost stop this problem completely. Lately if I do have to get up my nose being stopped up is not the reason anymore. I am only getting up once maybe twice a night now and only for a short time then back to bed. Before it was sometimes four times a night, crazy. This pillow does shift some of your weight onto your hips a little more but it's not to bad. It just takes a little getting use to it. You will be assimilated, :)..

Good quality - well made

It has taken me some time to get used to sleeping on this - and side sleeping is not very comfortable with the wedge. I only use it about half the night, and only on nights when I'm congested or have acid reflux. The wedge is great for sitting up in bed reading or watching TV. It's bigger than I imagined. Even though I knew it would take up half my queen sized bed in width, I didn't realize how far down from the head of the bed it would come. It's soft, but not mushy. Firm, but not rigid. I like the cover that comes with it. It's got just enough "grip" to keep me from slipping down the wedge. I imagine with a cotton cover, I'd slide right off. Overall, I'm pleased with it. Now if only I could figure out where to put it in my tiny bedroom when I'm not using it!

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a wedge

I have had GERD (acid reflux) for 15 years. Originally I had my entire mattress at an angle, and that worked really well for me. Unfortunately, it did not work well for my husband, so after sleeping flat for years I finally took my doctor's advice. I have had the Avana wedge about a month now, and it seems to be working well. I don't find that I slide down at all, but I didn't slide when the entire bed was elevated either, so it could just be me! I am an exclusive side sleeper and I have always used a body pillow. I also have fibromyalgia, so I was concerned about the wedge being too firm, but it is comfortable. As someone who always has a hard time falling asleep, I was impressed that I adjusted to the wedge after just a few nights. And yes, you do need to let it air out for at least 24 hours unless you really like the smell of polyurethane.

Soft and supportive

Easy and fast to set up. Very low memory foam odor. Matches my decor nicely. Works well with my Tempur Pedic pillow. Soft covering but inside foam structure is firm enough to do the job. I have a memory foam bed and I do not feel even the slightest transition from pillow to mattress. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I keep sliding down on the pillow during sleep and that affects how well I sleep. However, Acid reflux is no longer a problem. Yay!
